Gary non of us are getting any younger , ive been detecting 45 yrs and thought i was bullet proof . Feeling not well at all about 6 months ago i got to see the Doctor who diagnosed me with diabetes and a life threatening cholesterol level. Having been a carpenter as well all my life a considered myself very fit for a msn of 63 , i was stunned by this news . Gary listen to your wife mine had been warning me for years about fry ups etc . Love the elliptical HF. Never tried the pitch program though. May have to give it a go. I mainly use a program that i set up and it hasn’t let me down so far, the elliptical really picks out the good stuff. Thanks for the video.

Loved the off roading up the track mate. Great video as usual, this pitch programme with the elyptical coil looks to do the business. Lets get a session down on the medieval field as you said. I've not got the elliptical so this field has never been searched with it. Should be a great test and I suspect with good results. 😉👍

Gary, your previous Pitch 101 was based on the Deep program. Is this Pitch 101 based on the Pitch program better suited to the HF elliptical coil?

Personally I would say yes, you can use Deep as a starting point if you wish.

Gary, That was fun and no snow. It's funny back here in the states Vermont Metal Detecting decide to use a ferrous setting in place of the non ferrous and expected loads of junk, but he started getting coins and assorted interesting stuff. Alright Gary, I’ve been having issues with my eliptical coil. It doesn’t charge properly, it won’t charge to full regardless of how long it’s left on charge. It isn’t the battery as I brought a new one and it does the same thing. Any idea what could be wrong. Any information would be appreciated!. Thanks for your time maye

My only thoughts would be your charging clip, cable or charging source. You could try updating with your coil in charge.

I tried calling customer service here in America . I was better off going out into the woods and start talking to squirrels. Of course without my detector because the screen is Frozen. I'm sorry I failed to tell you . The dealer told me because my brand new Windows 10 computer was frozen also. . To uninstall the app and restart the P.C And let the battery die on the R.C. because it my Rebooted. The R.C.has been on for about 3 days with the frozen screen.

Hi Gary, I've got a mi4 which I use alongside my Deus. Do you know of any reason for it being sensitive to all of the ground when I use it, it doesn't do it all the time but really annoying when it does. Ps it's only a few months old.

Hi mate Sometimes HOT ground will sound off on the probe. I think your area can be quite bad. With the probe on, press and hold the button and select the second chime rather than the third. Now you are on power level 2
