Another great video! I actually settled on something very similar to this build with my pathfinder. I anointed Mental Perseverance for another 10% dmg taken to mana (it was super cheap) and went with the 2 very small blind nodes on the tree and blind chance on jewels for 55% blind chance on hit and 50% increased effect. I feel very tanky but I'm only doing t15 maps for the most part.

I see a lot of people complaining about the cost in the comments😅 It sure will be frustrating for POE content creators to hear complaints about build costs. However, if you were to upfront about the acutal or approximate costs in the video thumbnail or title, wouldn't you be able to avoid such complaints in the first place?😓 It's misleading to advertise a build as 'budget' without disclosing the actual cost. Blaming viewers for having different budget standards after they've been misled is unfair.

The point is that this character is SSF-able (that will make it harder to gear, but that's the point of SSF), and none of the items it wants are really in high demand. Eventual budget is always going to be up to the player.

So how do you keep dark effigy up? If I'm correct it only applies wither to enemies that it hits and it only hits enemies that have taken chaos damage (not an issue with gas arrow because everything is always taking chaos damage 😆). For me though it feels like DE gets one shot almost immediately before it can start spamming its attack unless I am very careful with its placement which is usually on top of me as a ranged support and kills my movement flow through the map. I've found it almost completely useless for my pathfinder. I even threw in jewels with totem resistances and life buffs. That helped a little bit but not enough IMO.

Pretty much only using Dark Effigy against bosses, and it's not too bad to maintain against them, for the most part. Just drop it behind them, keep blasting and dodging.

1st : TY just started leveling a ranger to play this build, looks great ! 2nd : i saw a video about "How to Scale Poison Damage in Path of Exile 2" and chaos damage does not scale poison damage, just the chaos damage on the inital hit, which is only 11% of all hit damage with "pure chaos" note. Maybe it is worth it, maybe not, just wanted to let you know :)

Good comms. Having compared the Pure Chaos setup to some other Phys damage wheels, the damage felt pretty comparable in mapping, but yeah, probably better to anoint Pure Chaos and spend those points elsewhere.

@@PathofEvening the guy is right about the scaling but that node is 11% extra damage so it's fine, it doesn't scale chaos though so any other investment into chaos is lost.

hommie you aint getting mf on any budget. the economy is fucked, anything with mf/res mf/life is a div minimum, even bad rolls. You either got in early or you got left behind.

That's a bit dramatic.. first off 1 div items are "budget" items.. if you can get 100% rarity on a couple div without bricking your build, that'll pay itself off in a couple hours of blasting.. For the record, I also think rarity needs adjusted.. Id like to see %rarity on gear nerfed by 50%, then see that rarity added to higher tier content as a baseline.. builds like LA and spark also need heavily nerfed considering people are neutering their builds to stack rarity and are still able to evaporate pinnacle content... but I do think rarity has a place in the game as a way to continue scaling rewards once your build seems maxed out.

Dr pepper is the best I've been using the helmet so no need to flame wall and using gloves to turn explosion to cold. So two uniques taking rarity slots but running roughly 100 iir. My pc died and afraid rarity is going to be dumpstered before i get going again but if not thinking I'm going to replace the gloves and grind until they nerf it

Ouch about the PC. Definitely a good chance that Rarity gets annihilated in the first week of 2025, but we'll have to see!
