The boiling points don't go by how high or low the peaks are? It goes by low middle to high of b.p ?

Helium is the best for a carrier gas. Sometimes nitrogen is used - it doesn’t work as well, it is not as good as an ideal gas, but it is cheaper.

Do the molecules take longer to move down the column do to molecular weight or some type of adhesion to the column surface? Great video 👍

Separation is based on boiling points, not molecular weight (shown at 2:10).
