Notice he didn't do any kind of combustion or CO test, didn't inspect the heat exchanger. There's a reason you don't see belts in resi units, because any unit with a belt should have been replaced years ago. I'd bet my life that heat exchanger is cracked. Notice how he wouldn't change the thermostat for the guy? He's a lazy hack. He literally called the customer a f*n dumb dumb to his face. He's extremely rude to his customers. The belt tension is also way too tight; that filter is also an accident waiting to happen, it should be on the opposite side of that intake. It’s only a matter of time before it’s into and mangled by the motor. It’s gonna happen 100% guaranteed.

Tell that man to not let his neighbor near his house, he gonna burn that place down. Neighbor probably put 20 amp breakers on his 14 gauge house wiring. lol
@jblyon2 Жыл бұрын
I discovered that in a friend's house. GFCI kept tripping. It was ancient, beat up, and in the garage where it was regularly subjected to 115+ degree temps in the summer. Tough to get to, and both bathrooms in the house and 3 patio receptacles ran off it, so regular tripping was a bitch. Easy enough to try a new one, right? Shut off the 20 amp breaker, then saw the 14 gauge wiring when I pulled out the old GFCI...then noticed the GFCI was only rated for 15 amps (I bought a 20). They had a 120v hot tub plugged into that circuit about 70' of wiring away from the breaker...
@RockoRocko-rz7kx Жыл бұрын
depends on the length. I’d use a number 12 just incase but u might get away with 14 gauge if it was short run
@mxslick50 Жыл бұрын
@@RockoRocko-rz7kx Not if it was on a 20 amp breaker, you MUST use 12ga. wire. As for jblyon2's situation, a 15 amp OR 20 amp GFCI has a 20 amp feed through rating, the only difference with a 20amp GFCI (or standard receptacle) is that it will accept a 20amp cord cap.
