If Gas is blowing out your muffler STOP!!! Your Crankcase is probably full of gas. Most of the time it is a carburetor problem. It is cheaper to buy a new one than parts. At least that's what I found out. I ordered one cause it was cheap and when I went to install it I found my Wiring Harness was chewed up!!! Probably from Mice. The bare wires were all touching each other and in contact with the metal of my mower. The wiring harness was really cheap as well and really simple to replace.
