Thank you for clarifying what happens to the bicarbonate that is formed by isohydric transport, without your explanation I got really confused as to how it was considered a transport thinking that the bicarbonate just stayed within the system as an acting pH buffer, but then one of my books mentioned “Note that in isohydric transport, the CO2 is not directly carried by hemoglobin” which completely through me off. Thank you again for the great explanations and I hope you guys continue making more videos.
