Thanks for posting this. I have just purchased this kegerator and appreciate your insights. Since it worked for you I tried using the 2.5m of 4mm beer line and of the 3 kegs I've got connected, it works wonderfully. In my previous kegerator, I used the flow restrictor you showed in your video as well as Nukatap flow control faucets. While I was always able to dial in the beer to get the proper pour, it was something of a nuisance and with the flow restrictors, I got a lesson in sourcing replacement O-rings. So far, I haven't needed anything other than the longer line length. I'm also using just the regular Nukatap faucets w/o flow control. Thanks again.

Exceptional! Thorough as always. But this one truly stands out start to finish...like the apparent homage to Benny Hill as someone else mentioned. I really needed this today!!! What an amazing, versatile piece of equipment too. The mixer beer looks delicious...Holy Cow!!! Good tips on the little shelves and the taps. Cheers Gash!

Electrical tape is a great idea. I had to take a tap out to fix a leak where the duotight wasn't on the shank properly and with 4 taps there I scratched it a little tightening back up, stainless so you can hardly tell but still, wish I'd watched this video first lol

Cheers Gash! very nearly bought one so I could have my outdoor fridge off... but, I guess I'll wait for my series 3 to die (10 years old now). You're right about it being a squeeze to get 3 kegs in it, has to be JUST right, no beer lines between kegs etc.

Awesome! Great video and I wonder about all those neighbors passing by wondering what you were doing. Sadly I don't think those are available in the U.S. and although I think that would be a million times easier to work with compared to my keezer, I am a little concerned with the door as over the years I've had 2 full kegs leak out and fill my keezer but with that, all 5 gallons would have been mainly on the floor. Great job and lots of useful details. Thank you as always!

@@HomeBrewNetwork saw a video somewhere and the right hand side sit all askew, far right sit a bit forward and the 2 onthe left sit back... I think.... they don't fit as a line... and they need to be standard corny diameter any bigger and no go.

Loving your channel mate... Looking at getting one of these "8 Keg units." How's the noise level? Much like a normal fridge? Cheers!
@HomeBrewNetwork11 ай бұрын
A normal fridge with an exposed compressor yes. Not a newer fridge with everything enclosed. Otherwise the price would be in the thousands. I wouldn't put it in a bedroom or next to your telly but ours lives happily in our kitchen, backed onto the other side of our bedroom wall. They can be noisy new but they settle right down

I'd need to bring the kegerator upstairs. I've read it's 60kg, but I see you were flipping it very easily. How difficult would it be to carry this few floors for 2 men? I suppose it's a 2 men job! Gonna be trick to get a grip.
@HomeBrewNetwork2 жыл бұрын
Its pretty light mate, I dont know the weight but it would surprise me if it was 60kg, id be surprised it if was 30kg lol. I got into my house etc by myself, not up a flight of stairs, but a couple of stairs. Cheers!

Awesome video again mate. Quick newby question. Do you just run the fan when you are using the taps?
@HomeBrewNetwork3 жыл бұрын
I leave it on most of the time, but it wouldn't really hurt to turn it off, in the middle of summer if its in a very hot spot, you might dump the first 50ml of the pour at the start of a drinking session, otherwise its not going to hurt much except for you might get that little bit of foam at first, until the line cools down, which happens fast once you turn the fan on and pour one beer. Cheers!
