The concept and gameplay of this is really good. But pretty much nothing happened in the story except like 3 things. The ending wasnt good but theres still a third game. See yall tommorow for TRAUMA AND THERAPY.

Personally the puzzles, whilst pretty creative, just weren't as engaging as the first game. Also you had a whole expanded location and the library was only used for one puzzle

I personally really liked this game, maybe it isn't the BEST game ever made but I feel love behind it and actual care as well. Maybe some parts are scuffed and the puzzles were to hard for my itty bitty brain but overall I enjoy the story, the voice acting, and the care they seemingly actually put in. I find this one as a def improvement as it seems like with there being less ending they have a direction they truly wish to take the game and looking back I was negative on it at first too but slowly started to really enjoy it as I looked more into it. Maybe not everyone likes a game like that, but I like giving games multiple looks to see if I really like it, and I see a lot in this game personally I love it :3 Also the live action scenes and monster designs are great and the difference in animation between the cartoons and IRL stuff is also cool to me!

I hope the third game will lean more into the story. Like the info we got is decent and I enjoy Rebecca/Amanda characterization. As she’s just an angry terrified kid at the end of the day who probably doesn’t know what actually happen to her dad. I think that’s why it’s one my favorite lore from mascot horror b/c of the characterization and how it’s storytelling style. Being that we can actually understand wtf is going on without having to read books and extra stuff like that. Edit: though I do wish there was just a little more to the story and reveals

There's not much mystery anymore, it's straight up "evil bad company people praise Satan and trap souls in product" That's a plot I have NEVER HEARD in a indie horror game before

The sequel by sequel formula does get tiring over time. While not a bad idea in general, it’s the story execution that may fall flat for games like Banban and this.

I wouldn't even compare the "chapter" styles between Amanda and Deltarune. Chapter games like Amanda tend to just want to stretch out the plot, making each chapter long enough to be sold separately. Delatrunes Chapters are more like chapters of a story, like, each chapter will be in the actual full game, and meant to be directly connected. I dunno it's hard to explain but I feel like Deltarune is chapter based to actually help the game development whereas Amanda is chapter based because that's what other mascot horror games do.

The possum is jordan. Joanne’s brother that went missing. Which is why the possum is acting childish, irrational and scared like a kid would in that horrible situation. And why the possum is trying to escape with jumping towards the tv. He was trying to say Joanne but he couldn’t due to something preventing him and his possum state, but he clearly remembers. In the first game you can see a letter from Joanne to Kate for help on finding her brother. Riley is Kate’s niece. The monsters are seperate beings, and the monster that kills Joanne is wooly. Not *wooly* but a monster that looks like wooly

Really mixed on this game. Overall, this is an improvement compared to the first game, I love the puzzles, secrets, visuals. And even the characters and story bits are amazing with good acting and scares. But the fact that it didn't lead anywhere is really dissapointing. Still looking forward to whatever Amanda 3 will bring, hopefully it will conclude the story in some way. Also Possum best character

I think the possum is Joannes brother and this monster in the end was probably him (he didnt look like lamb, more like possum), I have a grasp of the story overall and pretty curious of what will come next, thank you for the stream, will see you next time ^^

When I saw the original game I didnt have any intrest in the sequel as the endings in the original were just unsatisfying sequel bait, originally I wasnt gonna check out the sequel cause I assumed itd be the same, but after some time thought id give the sequel a chance and yeah while the gameplays an improvement I was absolutely right about it just being a cash grap series that will never end, itll just keep teasing new games forever
