Dude the Balatro talk was making me go insane, it is NOT Solitaire, it's Poker, and it's NOT an "above 30" thing - or, it's not NOT that, but I've seen people of all ages who love it, even including my nine year old sister somehow. And, you know, me, and I'm not above 30. It's just ageless and enjoyable by quite literally anyone. It's probably not a stream game, but I'd recommend picking it up on your switch just so you can play it whenever. If any indie game got into the GOTY category this year, I would've picked Animal Well personally (you should play it on stream, add it to the 800 game list or however long it was), but Balatro is still very deserving - everything about it, from the masterful game design, to the beautiful visuals, to the absolutely stunning music track you never get sick of (go listen to it). PEAK. I've put like 125 hours into it which is the most I've done in a single ten month period except probably Splatoon 3 when it came out. Honestly I'm scared for the content update because like... what if by trying to improve perfection they make it worse? But it'll probably be fine This is probably the most positively I've talked about a game to a streamer/youtuber while also telling them it's "probably not worth playing on stream" lol

Going back to the Creepypasta thing with concept and execution. Let's take Sonic.EXE as an example. The idea of a children's IP, being turned into something legitimately terrifying is awesome, which is one of the many reasons I love FNAF & Bendy as concepts. But, the way it was handled felt like the author didn't necessarily care enough to actually put some background into this character. The fandom did a better job with Sonic.EXE than JCtheHyena ever did. All that freak was focused on was writing cliche-filled garbage, then providing some lore for his "glorious little hellspawn".

If one of the first things someone tells you about any type of smoking, weed included, is that "you will get used to it" it just means they had to fuck their sense of taste and smell to adjust to how gross it is.

the talk about long distance relationships and online relationships was pretty neat, tbh I feel like for me being long distance atm with my boyfriend and interacting through messages was surprisingly a lot better for us than irl ones.
