LA SHERIFF scanners are not encrypted. Most of the surrounding police departments around us have been encrypted for the last 3 or 4 years, But the sheriff and LAPD are still available

I was thinking, maybe a shotgun directional microphone. It's a cool microphone setup. As you probably know, it's capable of recording a conversation from 100 yards distance. I think it would be interesting to hear they're conversations when they gather in their huddles.

After a couple trips to the doctor and some medication I am feeling close enough to a young man again. Back on my bike. Hit by a car but very lucky.
