It's crazy how the TV show made gas monkey look like the most toxic work environment but now it looks amazing. Those kids get to relax and just make amazing cars. No crazy deadlines no drama just making sick cars and having fun. And Richard seems like a amazing boss not the freak tv maid him out to be. Love youtube gas monkey

It's because he doesn't have actual mechanics. Fipp's . Idk what's going on with gas monkey but pretty sure the shop "lead" is a parts changer. Probably watching KZbin videos to figure out how. Unless theres other guys working that aren't shown on these videos. Aaron made gas monkey as big as it is. He was a true fabricator. Pretty sure these guys best skill is spot welding with a mig gun.

I read a comment in part one of this video where someone made an observation of the way Richard often treats Fipps condescendingly. I personally never thought he intended to do it in a mean spirited way necessarily, but it was good to see Richard have enough self circumspection to clean it up and give ole Fipps more of a peer role in this video. Way to go RR! This is why you guys are killing it. You’re not too big to understand this journey is the culmination of the team.

Ok here's the deal, when you import it has to pass an inspection by a specific engineer ( that's about €1000-1300) if you add anything that wasn't on the original build sheet can be added as long as it was a factory option eg; power steering and they add it a homologation to the reg document. As part of the inspection get it registered as a Historic Vehicle, cheap insurance and no road tax. I suspect that may be a separate inspection and more money, but how it usually works here is to slip the relevant inspector a sweetener so they can accommodate you to do it all at once. The regulations are over here are BS! they do love paperwork and bureaucracy .. and having rules that arbitrarily change with no warning lol. Good Luck, she's a beauty and the 67 S Code has always been my dream car since I saw Bullitt as a kid.

Man the ride along footage brought back memories from my high school days (late 70s-early 80s) My ride at the time was a 1970 Merc Cougar with a 351 windsor 2bl carb, automatic, one of my best friends older brother had a 68 Mustang GT/CS and one of my other friends had my dream ride-a 67 Mustang FB in Aqua metallic color. When his dad (who was a real car guy while also being a big executive) bought it for him. It was a solid unwrecked car but originally had 6cyl engine. His dad swapped a 289 V8 4bbl into it and of course redid wheels/rotors, brakes ans suspension. About a year later he transplanted a 390V8 4bbl he transplanted from a Galaxie and repainted it with Dupont Imron in color close to original aqua/turquoise metallic-added Shelby antisway bars and disc brakes. And the car was unusual in that it came with an original rare factory option paint matches horizontal slotted trim panel on the rear tail section-It can be seen in old book “Mustang Does It!” Other than the picture in the book, my friend’s car was the only one I have ever seen in person on a 67 Mustang. And his dad had a sense of humor in that they left the side running pony emblems showing 289 after putting the 390 in it. Man that car was faaaaaast and heckofa lotta fun to ride in-and on a couple of occasions my friend pulled up to stop light next to a new corvette and smoked em with a burnout.
