I like songs with stories. Lyrics that actually mean something. Mud is one of my favourites. As is 'Trailer'. Kinda modern 'country' with a rock beat. Too Country for rock. Too rock for country. But Whiskey Myers are just about perfect for me.

Oh you guys! I grew up in the 70s, the original Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Black Oak Arkansas, Allman Brothers. I have not heard authentic "new" southern rock since I was a barefoot teenager parked on the red dirt road where I lived in Choctaw Oklahoma with my friends with the radio blasting. Nothing else much to do out there unless the blackberrys were ripe. I now live in Colorado Springs. Just saw you boys are going to be in Denver November. I am going to try my best. I already have tickets to take my 30 year old baby daughter to Lynyrd Skynyrd September 28th. I don't know but we might be able to do both, sure going to try. Found you looking through red dirt music. Didn't expect this, pleasantly surprised. Keep it up boys, the south will do it again @

I wish people would stop saying band are underrated, that word gets thrown around way too easily online. Whiskey Myers are absolutely one of my favourite bands of the 21st Century, OK they aren’t blowing up in the Charts, but who cares? Do you really need your grandma and next door neighbour to listen to them 🤔 And does that make a difference to their excellent music? They have a solid and very loyal following and that is way better in the long run than being “flash in the pan” success which fades into obscurity. Long may they carry on and slowly grow their base of true music fans. Rock on! ❤🤟

How, the trade war has affected us where I’m from, but nowhere near what 2012-2016 did, a big portion of blue collar workers got laid off, had to resort to working at Walmart and a Sykes that only paid 9 a hour during that time, now a lot of people have gotten back to work. Also I hear of tons of people from other areas saying the areas have improved talked to a guy from SC a few months back and he said the area is finally starting to show progress after what they dealt with under the last administration
@JimmyWhite19674 жыл бұрын
@@zacharydotson383 Hmmm... The last administration took the unemployment rate from 10% in 2009 to 4.5% in 2017, had 60 months of job growth and the market had a 247% return rate. The economy was still growing in 2017 but now not so much. These tariffs have cost people jobs, farmers have lost money and the steel Mills have slowed down in Indiana. John Deere laid off 260 workers in Iowa, over 1500 jobs lost in Missouri. We're coming in to Trump's economy and it will not be a good thing. But go ahead and stroke his ego anyway, Trump loves to be stroked. 🙉
