This man isn't singing for us; he is singing for himself. We are watching him conduct his own therapy, take his medicine, and heal himself through his music. He is truly pouring his heart out and giving it to us. Wow. Amazing. The talent and the passion. I feel everything that he is feeling. Truly amazing. ❤

This song reminds me of what my life was before i got sober back on April 4th 2016. I fell in love with a girl in the depths of my addiction. I got sober, and she didn't. Even after getting sober she would pop in and out of my life, and I'd want to help her get clean but she wasn't ready. Today she has almost 6 months clean and I still feel the same love for her now. I got sober because I was truly tired of the life i once lived. The Bible says to pray with out ceasing and I know through personal experience that God does answer prayers. May not be the way we want it but he does answer. God is good!

Have you turned to stone? Well I guess I got my bottle I still hold it all the time But it keeps me smiling and singing Helps me fall asleep a little bit better at night They say life is like a dagger Backstage is full of parasites They love you and drain of everything you own Just to feel better about their life Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is this too far gone? Or have you turned to stone? Sweet, sweet heart of mine I'm going to break again a million times Or is this too far gone? My son plays guitar. My mom plays the accordion. I can sing. But somehow those three things don't produce the same sounds as this video. :) I have loved Whiskey Myers since about 10 years ago when I heard the album "Firewater". The first time I saw them live was in the basement of a BBQ joint on Capitol Hill in DC. They hadn't hit it big yet, and there were about one hundred people in the audience, and it was intimate enough that I got to chat with them during the break. The last time I saw them was at the Great Frederick Fair and they were playing for (I'm guessing) 5-6,000 fans. I'm glad others have found them! I think Yellowstone and SEAL Team have added many fans to their music. They are my favorite band of all time - and I am fortunate that they swing by my neck of the woods about once a year.

'Well I guess I've got my bottle, I still hold it all the time. But it keeps me smilin and singing. Helps me fall asleep a little bit better at night.'. Ain't that the truth.. What a world. Existence is a hell of a thing.

Love his music. Such a strong voice, doesn't need to be drowned out by the instruments and lyrics that tell a story you can relate to. Very talented artist!!!
