Meh. It’s flashy but not particularly penetrating. He gives up a lot of court standing so far back so he needs more power. Stan’s BH IS so much more lethal.

Awesome seeing Gasquet do well and the French crowd praise it. There’s all this talk about nadal, thiem, Murray and all the other older gen guys who are on their last leg, giving them so much praise, I get it Gasquet doesn’t have a GS but he’s still a legend in his own right and deserves some praise too.

To me it remains a mystery why Gasquet achieved so little in his career considering his fantastic shotmaking. Never entered a GS final, never won a Masters 1000 title. He had more single victories than Wawrinka or Cilic, yet they had 3 and 1 GS victories respectively. Pity, huge pity.
