This is going to help me out so much when I build my scar-h, thank you!

Just picked up a Semi boneyard SCAR in a trade. This is my project for it, looks like a lot of fun but also challenging.

I wish I had found this helpful video before installing the titan mosfet in my Scar L. So far I have this system in 4 of my CQB guns (Scar L, M-4, Mp-5 and Ak-47) and I am very pleased but I think the ROF is a bit slow even at 100% "compared to the ROF I had before the Mosfet Titan .. .. However, I programmed the trigger for Safe-Semi-Burst/Auto. wich is a perfect combination for the Airsoft fields where we do not use Full Auto. Thanks for that video..... See you on the Field.... 👍

So i wonder how u would connect the mosfet to the phone when you still have that hinge connector... Will it still work without drilling a hole on a stock?
@d-rzairsoft2965 жыл бұрын
Still works just the same. The hinge is just a + and - conductive metal hinge that the wires are soldered to. After this hinge the wires return to standard tymia connectors. You just need a dean's to tymia adapter to program. Your largest issue will be modifying the titan wires to work with the 2 metal probes in the back of the lower with the conductive probe receiving holes in the back of the lower stock. This way you can still seperate the lower without cutting wires. Everything will work as long as your electric path of continuity remains conductive.

Do you know if it would it be possible to throw an Avalon Gearbox into the scar?? If so that would be sweet, because you can just disassemble the receiver, take off that connector, then you would presumably have direct access to the QC spring system on the Avalon Gearbox.
@d-rzairsoft2966 жыл бұрын
You could put an Avalon gearbox in a scar but it would probably take some modification. I tried putting a krytac trident gearbox on my echo1 scar but however the krytac gearbox is slightly larger around the front do to the mock bolt release therefore modifications to your mag will might be necessary. I'm doing so however your mags might not fit flush in the magwell. ALSO if you had a quick change spring guide you would still have to drill 2 holes in the plate of the scar H stock swivel . 1 for your wires to feed through and 1 to access quick change spring guide. So maybe it's possible idk. Regardless you will have to open your gearbox and put a Scar H size nozzle in it.

DRZ Productions aaah I see. Well that’s a bummer, that’s a lot more modification than I thought. I guess I don’t know the insides of a SCAR AEG all too well lol. It’s probably a lot simpler to throw in an HPA engine instead, even though I’d still have to modify the stock to route batteries through.

So when it comes to the magnetic stock connections, I’d have to solder the Titan wires to the prongs?
@d-rzairsoft2963 жыл бұрын
That is correct. Just make sure you don't get the prongs backward or accidentally reverse them otherwise you will get a short, fry the titan, and blow up your battery. So just be safe about it. Red is + and black is - make sure it stays that way all the way up to the battery lol.

Question why take the spring off the selector plate if that still needs tension on the cut off level?
@d-rzairsoft2963 жыл бұрын
When you install a gate titan the circuit board completely replaces the cut off lever entirely. You actually use the screw from the cut off lever to mount the gate circuit board to the gearbox. You don't need a cut off lever because the gate computer automatically cuts off power to your motor whenever you pull the trigger in semi after a shot has been fired. Then when you pull it again it cycles and fires another shot.. Therefore it's an electronic semi auto function based on the motor instead of the cut off lever. NOW because there is no cut off lever there is no need for the spring on the selector plate. The spring no longer pushes against anything. Therefore the selector plate moves based on the position of your fire selector. The spot in which the plate spring originally sat is actually a light sensor on the titan circuit board. So when the sector plate moves it covers this sensor which then allows the gate computer to tell which fire mode it is in. The selector plate spring is only needed in AEGs with a cut off lever. If there is no cut off lever then it's no longer needed.

Carlos laughter says it all 😂 what problems did you have with the wire to the stock.
@d-rzairsoft2964 жыл бұрын
All we did was drill a whole through the back of the gun into the stock then fed the wire through both holes. The stock can still fold fine with the wires and it works perfectly fine. This gun actually no longer exists anymore its been a while. I bought it off Carlos last year and it now has a polarstar Gen3 fusion engine in it lol.

@@d-rzairsoft296 cheers for the info I'll keep it in mind for future reference if I decide to go ahead and get one I hate the look of the stock but like the look of the body. It's like a ugly woman with a nice lower 😀
@d-rzairsoft2964 жыл бұрын
@@JBAIRSOFTIRELAND personally my favorite stocks on Scars is ACR Masada stocks. But you can't do it with an AEG cause then there's no room for a battery. You can do it with GBB models however or polarstars. But yeah I rarely use my scar I just keep it around because I love the FDE look with my collection. Also stay tuned. More content will be coming within the next few weeks.
