Gatekeeper Claims Three Souls At Walker Valley ORV

Let me tell you what!!! The Gatekeeper was a quite the challenge at Walker Valley ORV Park in Mount Vernon, WA. I was fortunate enough to have ‪@GrandExploration‬ along with an awesome group of people with me at this event. We combined beginner and experienced off-road and overland skills to create such a unique quest. This included vehicles such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, Jeep Cherokee XJ, Jeep Wrangler, Range Rover, and a Land Cruiser. This is a must watch!!!

was up there 1 day with the gate wide open...then we sat and waited for a couple stock ford rangers that got stuck on their 1st trail...gate is there for a reason :)

Dude in the newer jeep Cherokee wouldn't listen to help and sitting outta the vehicle never helps. trust your spotter and don't take a vehicle off-road if you don't want scratches. great video all and all!

@@Fuelnomenal I have a 2001 TJ‘s with a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires are it seems pretty serious yesterday when I went solo. I didn’t attempt to pass the crooked gatekeeper lol do you guys have any plans to go up there soon I live 20 minutes or so away I would be down to join.

Yep, at a dedicated ORV park like this, where it's all connected by a couple miles of logging roads, it's pretty typical to air down tires and lock in 4x4 at the staging area parking lot, and then to leave it that way all day. 😊

Nice the gate is no joke. I was there. A while back. I made it halfway through in 4 wheel. Drive low, arrange on the transfer case, but 4 wheel drive is not working.. So I backed out. 3 inch left. On a 2002 Jeep Cherokee. What's a 3 inch left? Thirty three inch tires. I love watching the gatekeeper videos. I know how the stock toyota sequoia that probably needs a lift before I get through this....

i went to my mechanic and said hey let's build a wj. i had the build on paper with pricing and everything. he talked me into a 2021 zr2. an exceptionally capable off roader. i just did the front part of fordyce in the sierras. lockers front and rear make a huge difference. i still want to do a wj overlander. maybe overlander +p.
