Seems like the Jade is the go-to for now. I do think this will catch on considering unwanted leaf sounds is one issue with switches in general. The idea that I can set the trigger distance short for gaming and then back longer for regular work is still a huge benefit for a multipurpose keyboard.

The simplified structure positively impacts the typing feel and sound. However, whether magnetic switches and keyboards will become popular among people like me who don't play games, considering price and compatibility, is still uncertain.

Since the mast passes through, the sound probably won't differ much from the KS-20.

I have the jades and was able to film them and they sound even deeper as a result. It also reduced the wobble signifcantly. The jades are very very good imo.

This video is of help for me to choose HE switch. I think blocked switch bottom is good decision to make nice sound compared with MX style switches. But it is little bit expensive rather than other switches since it contains magnets inside stem maybe? Overall, it would be a good choice for experiencing high quality typing with gaming keyboards.

I'm interested in the simple push feel due to the absence of a contact leaf. However, it remains to be seen whether the benefits outweigh the switch compatibility and the high price barrier for many users who are not gamers.

how do these work on kbd67? aren’t these switches hall effect switches? but kbd67 are for mx.

If Gateron releases clicky or tactile switches, we'll know about it. I don't think gamers who prefer rapid triggers would necessarily favor clicky or tactile switches.
