Would be an idea to include a single L45 switch with orders so people can test and see if they like it. Going to pick up a Wooting but just can't decide between 60he or Two HE. Any videos on disassembling the Two HE to lube switches etc? Also a finance option like Klarna (pay in 3) or something would be good.

Back in the Wooting One days I manually changed my springs to 80 gram heavy springs. I thought that more resistance would mean that I would get more precision out of the analog control in applications like driving. It turned out that the heavier springs made it harder to hold precise values, which makes sense in hindsight. I did absolutely love the feeling of the heavier springs though! I kept them in the Wooting One and use the default switches on the Lekker. What I really want is a spring that is light at first and quickly gets so stiff it's hard to bottom the key out, but I don't think that's possible with one spring.

Actually, normal key switches have these hybrid springs(multi-stage) which are basically two different springs connected together. This allows you have the key start light and end heavy or vice verse. Sadly they probably won't work on the Lekker switches since they don't use the standard size springs.

I just did the 50cn spring swap and lubed the L60 switches in my 60he and absolutely love it, would totally have ordered these if I hadn’t literally just done it lmao. May still order the 12 pack for my WASD keys though…..

Waited so long for lighter switches! As some one who prefer light spring of 35g, my wooting was gathering dust in closet. Time to order L45 springs. Also as next milestone would wait for 3mm total travel switches as my end game for wooting 60 as I bottom out A & D while counter strafing.

That's great to read. With rapid trigger the travel shouldn't matter anymore, other than the feeling and a habitual type of pressing(?) Welcome to elaborate on why the 3mm and this being better for counter strafing for you.

@@Wooting Yah so let me explain my use case - whenever I counter strafe I fully bottom out A and D keys. No doubt rapid trigger is actuating switches at 0.1mm minimum, but even then I have no way of stopping at lets says 1mm. Since I bottom out the key I go all the way to 4mm of key press. Now when switch is coming back, I again have to wait for the switch to return back to default position to press it again 4mm. Even though the actuation are fast but the total travel of 4mm happens every keystroke. All I am suggesting is to reduce it to lets say 3mm for more key press per unit time so that spamming keys are faster by delta time. Hope it explains! May be someone can stop keypress mid but I have to bottom it out.

​@@Ag1Le Would recommend you to check what Rapid Trigger does again. Basically it will reset your key when you release it as small as 0.1mm. Meaning in your situation, you could bottom out at 4mm then release to 3.9mm (key deactivates, movement stops), then press back to 4.0mm and it activates again. This means, you don't need to release the entire key to spam press it.

@@Wooting I fully understand the rapid trigger and and agree with you explanation. But may be I am the boomer here because I have a habbit of of fully letting the key reset to the top before pressing again. This how I used to counter strafe before wooting rapid trigger was a thing, old habbits die hard. But may be majority of the folks out there can repress key mid return before fully resetting it to top.

A somewhat heavier switch would have been nice, like a 55-75 cN or 60-80 cN. I don't get fatigued by my standard switches, but I hit keys unintentionally with the side of my fingers. I also look for a linear switch that I don't bottom out with, but float as it were, above the bottom of the stroke.

I'll test the L45 with my uwuting and consider replacing the L60 on my 60he if I like the L45 more. Especially in Osu, the L60 can become rather heavy after longer sessions (but maybe this also should be a signal for me to take a break xD)

@@Sam-zw2kp This is not correct. L60 is rated 60cN at the end of the press, Average Red switch for comparison is 55cN. Average Black switch ends on 80cN. You are confusion rated "actuation" weight, which is the point at which regular switches will actuate and usually half way the press.

How are the tolerances on the new L45 switches? The original L60 switches that i got in my 60He had a lot of steam and housing wobble, after filming them the housing wobble is esenically gone but the steam wobble is still more than i would like.

There've been minor adjustments here and there to make gradual improvements, but can't confirm that tolerances are that much better now. Gateron in general seems to have problems getting tighter tolerances.

A couple things would be really sweet: 1. A tactile version and 2. A 75 keyboard, F-keys are a requirement. Also 3. Info Screen that doesn't rely on third-party software (keyboard info, CPU / GPU temps). Let me put it this way, I would instantly buy a Wooting that essentially worked like an ASUS AZOTH. That keyboard has it all with the exception of two things: 1. Magnetic Switches and 2. Aluminum case. I don't care about wireless at all, but if others do, then simply have an open port in the rear of the aluminum case covered with a plastic window. All ASUS has to do is to reconfigure their current keyboard to accept and utilize magnetic switches, and to standardize the PCB to fit in something like a KBDFans ODIN 75 aluminum housing and it's game over. Any of the big companies including Razer can do the same. Frankly, I would think that they would be pretty dumb not to considering your success. Being real, a magnetic switch in the real world doesn't do anything, but people want something new.
