Hi Freddy it’s Danielle. I finished with a personal best of 2hours 50 and I don’t think I would have done it without your encouragement. It really kept me going. It was a wonderful run and a great day and I had such a fab time. Made a friend for life!! Thanks so much for keeping me going😊

Brilliant pacing. I felt invested in Danielle's efforts to stay with you so can only imagine how hard it was to stay to pace when leaving her. Great work

Congrats! This reminded me of my 2:10 pacer last week in Ottawa. She ran it like clockwork, gave encouragement and advice and certainly made a big difference for my very first big event. I remember how she told us she would encourage us to ho ahead at km 18, which my colleague did and order as at km 21. I took off some time in between and in this field of almost 9000 missed her later to thank her. So thanks to you for all the pacers, Freddy

WOW! Fantastic job pacing, it doesn't get better than that! I was so happy I actually smiled ear to ear the first time Daniele caught up! I would love to have a pacer like you! Are you going to do more? I always get a little stronger the last mile, while the people who have been dragging me on over the miles get more tired. I always use the "don't let me beat you", etc to encourage them at the end. Works like a charm!

Thanks Kelly, I’ll definitely be doing more pacing, it was too much fun! 😊

@@patisseriequeen Hi Danielle and congrats! This is a wonderful place, full of sweet humans who only want to lift us all up. I have been running for 60 years but seeing how committed you were was so inspirational. And I have another thing in common with you, even though I have never meet Freddy and live in Florida, I feel like I have a friend for life as well. Keep going Danielle, we all look forward to your journey.

Great stuff, and well done pacing so well - you'll have been responsible for a fair few PBs! I've got Chester Half next weekend (first time attempting an event further than 10km) but I haven't really had chance to train for it (signed up on a whim with run club buddies), so I'm looking at around a 2:30-2:45 finish time for my initial outing. Will try to stick to the 2:30 pacer but I imagine I'll settle with the 2:40!!

It still blows my mind, from where things were when you first started this Chanel. Now you’re not just finishing half marathons yourself, you’re pacing others to their goal. 🤯 mind blown ;) ps - sad to see the old Baja Beach club (buffalo joes) looking alittle derelict :(

I am running the Hamptons 10k tomorrow. I got peroneal tendonitis and my physio reluctantly allowed me to run it (with lots of warnings and conditions haha) so I will definitely be back of the pack. I am still new to running and excited about the idea of getting on a train just for a race, so did not want to drop from it.

Nicely done on the PB dude, smashed your goal. It’s a shame I didn’t know you were down in Surrey a few weeks ago as I run in that area quite a lot as I’m local and could have taken you to Leith Hill and the north downs. I’ve got a video up there myself actually. If you are even down in Surrey/Sussex again let me know and I will come for a run with you 💪🫡
