A creature that travels around the multiverse with a city on its back... it's the _Spelljammer!_ 😄

Another excellent review from the Beast Who Quests, thank you Ben. You're making me feel over-invested in 5e, as though my stock portfolio is lopsided. I'm so deep into the campaign that I have at least 6 month to go, but I think I'll find a way to drop this city into my world for different PCs using white box, same players? Could work.

I feel you. Ben makes you wish to be playing something that isn't d&d
All the gang and territory stuff has a very Blades In The Dark feel to me.

Great review, great supplement. Really looking forward to Tomb of the Serpent Kings; its such a fantastic supplement, and really honestly shows up a lot of WotC's design. Hope the author does a sequal, a king of 'mid' dungeon complex along the lines of Caverns of Thracia or something like that.

What a coincidence! I just started reading coins and scrolls and got my hands on Tomb of the Serpent King. Looking forward to your opinion on the dungeon.

I loved Hubris, which I think you recommended and this is made by the same people, so, I'm in.

Thanks! I'm glad you dig Hubris. David Lewis Johnson did a phenomenal job on creating a great gonzo world. He and I definitely have similar inspirations that went into Hubris and Gathox :)

Thanks, Mike had me illustrate the cover and a bunch of the interiors for Hubris, so we've been working together for a while!

Interesting material, mate. You should check out SPIRE: the City must fall. Amazing game with one of the most awesome city/setting and plethora of ideas, and on top of that an incredible artwork.

"There's a mouth at the front, where as it crawls over the landscape it devours things in its way to consume them for fuel and energy." So basically like the cities in Mortal Engines?

So like a human. Cool.

This sounds like it could be a brilliant neighborhood of Doskvol in Blades in the Dark. The city outside the city.

I am sorry but I have left Patrion as they have started to act in a fascist manner against people who's political opinion they do not like As a believer in freedom of speech I cannot give money to an organisation that discriminates against people for having different values. Therefore I cannot send you money via patron. Sorry.
