Thanks. Just what I needed. Glad I saw this before I tried to install the usual tee, which looked like it was going to be quite a job.

So, after 8 years, why don't you have some distribution to America, and in inches not just millimeters? You'd make a lot of money selling through Home Depot or Lowes.

This is way easier than cutting the pipe in 2 👍
@jbravo703 жыл бұрын
Should put pipe clamps on either end. Glue can crack off, especially being buried with all those elements. Clamps with glue will make it last for a very long long time.

Can you use this as a junction to add a new pip run into an existing line will a 90 mm pipe fit into the inlet?

How to get this with 45 angle 4 inch pipe?
@stevenwild392 жыл бұрын
To make sure the snap T is straight, I place a piece of 90mm pipe in the upright connection and eyeball whether is is vertical or not.
@BloominOnion12 жыл бұрын
does it really need to be exactly vertical?

Quick tip: Use a hole saw well less than 90mm though or you'll strip the end stop, didn't mention what diameter he used.

It’s priming fluid you use before the glue.

@@justwatersolutions5120 great idea! Instead of capping it off as you did, I need to put an additional pipe vertically to join for additional drainage. That’ll work? Cheers.

@@josephj6521 yes, absolutely. It’s designed so you can do just that ☺️

Can this fitting be used for a sewer line?
@justwatersolutions5120 Жыл бұрын
The 100mm size Snap Tee fits sewer pipes, which are 100mm DWV. However it's for stormwater use, not really for sewer as they use 88 degree tees not 90 degree like these. (DWV = Drainage Waste and Vent)
