5:27 They have this new tool available, it is called a hammer. Invented 1 to 3 million years ago I think. Much easier on the knuckles. For demo's, snap on to the end of a pipe so can slide it off easier.

I want to say thanks for the video series . This video has helped me in my decision making projects . You wouldn't believe what a local outdoor furniture store wanted to charge me per 90 degree T'S They said they could order them and the cost would be $10.00 per T .You should consider having a prepackaged fitting pack for building a pvc canopy - shade screen room . Maybe have a photo of the finished product and dimensions with the listing? I have wanted to make one of these for over a year now last year I looked local and should have dug deeper into the internet

if you buy a 1" snap tee, does that work with a 1' schedule 40 PVC pipe OD? Meaning does the 1" PVC pipe OD match up with the 1' snap Tee ID?

Yes, a 1" snap tee has an ID of 1.31" which is equal to the ID of the snap tee.

Does snap clamps work as a quick fix patch over a hole in a PVC pipe water supply line? Im thinking of using Flex Glue to first fill and cover hole, then place snap clamp over it, folllowed by a metal hose clamp around snap clamp and tighten snug.

No, the snap clamps actually have ribs on the underside to grip the tarp or fabric etc. So there are some gaps. If you really want to try something like that, I'd recommend watching this video first. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/raCQg2OlptOApsU) It'll likely solve your problem. If that does not solve it, then you can try using a snap tee (email us or call us for more info on this). There is a small issue, but I think the method in the video will work for you. :-) Thanks for the question.

That's what I thought these were for. I mean why in the presentation would you mention gluing these snap fittings on if it was only meant to hold shade cloth or fabric on pvc? Wouldn't that screw up the fabric? What would be the point of the PVC Glue if it didn't adhere to the fabric or dissolved some sort of plastic liner?. The presenter kept mentioning these were for pressure. If he didn't mean water pressure, he sure should have made that a little more clear because in the video text below the video it said that it was to add a T-fitting to existing plumbing. Talk about confusion. I thought if you wanted to tap into a pipe, you could glue it on where you wanted to tap in, then drill a hole being careful not to damage the threads on petruding screw fitting and then rector-seal/true blue or teflon tape another pipe into the screw fitting with a male pvc adapter. (Might be good to drill it under pressure so all that crap doesn't get into the main line).

A little bit. The snap claimps some movement, but not much. The snap tees even less. But they will move given enough force or leverage.

@@FlexPVC I was thinking for a flex T Supermatic clamp with an option to hold not a very heavy object (shower head system) I can put a rubber layer for less sliding but am not sure if that will work. Would the T HAVE a threaded female M10 WITH a pitch of 1.5 in it? once again my question would this allow motion if a T . I do want it to be fixed in it.

Used the standard 1 1/4 clamps for my generator conduit and they busted in a couple of weeks. Probably 5 or 6 of the 20 clamps busted. Thought about using the first clamp in your video just want to make sure for 1 1/4 clamp that there is a 1/2 clearance between the pipe and mounting surface once clamp is mounted.

13 bucks for a half T pvc bracket. I need about 30 of em. I think Ill use duct tape instead. That will keep me from having to moonlight another job to buy them
