On April 3rd I was admitted to the ER and then ICU for 3 days. As I watched this episode on my front porch, a couple grey squirrels were running around across the road in the woods. I was feeling pretty discouraged all day today. This episode and being outside watching the squirrels were just what I needed. God is good!

@@deermeatfordinner thank everybody for the luck. She is a healthy 7lbs 7 oz girl there was only one complication though. She came out with her arm tucked in so it fractured a part of the arm but she’s healthy and will heal quickly❤️

In Texas where I'm from. When alligator season opens, you have to have your tags of course, but also you have to fill out paperwork for every gator you kill, where you killed it, the time, and the date and maybe the description of the gator, male or female, size and other little things about the gator, possible scaring on the hide from fighting. And you have to fill out the paperwork right then and there. The Texas Parks & Wildlife are watching every move you make. Cameras, drones, or them, they are watching you..Nooooooo, funny business.

Cowboy Candy is the best. We treat it like Frank's Hot Sauce. We put it on very thing. Last fall I made 48 pint jars of it from the bumper crop of peppers We grew last year. I have 175 starts of different types of peppers for the pepper patch this year. Got onions and potatoes in the ground today.

Grew up in Florida in the late 80s. As a kid we would fish all day and was always around the water. Constantly wading in for fresh water clams to use as bait always on the waters edge and never once did we worry about gators as they were almost non existent. If one was noted to be in a pond or lake, It usually didn’t last long as it was “taken care of” . man have their numbers exploded, I would NEVER do what I did as a kid in the 80s. It’s a shame they let their population get to where it is today.
