This happens to a lot of teams, not just the Gators, especially in the age of NIL and agents. The people who get tricked are the so-called recruiting analysts who crystal ball where they’ve think these kids are going. Those of us who’ve been around for a while don’t get excited over projections.

I don’t know if most recruits understand the tax effect also, with Florida having no state taxes and Oregon and California having extremely high state taxes. But who knows just my 2 cents. Overall great class imo!

Writing in from Leesburg, GA. Jeremiah McCloud is supposed to be a savage and has been playing against some real competition. Lee is ranked #20 in the nation. Solid class especially with some legacy players. Big fan and keep grinding 🤙🐊

DJ best "pure" QB passer ive seen at Florida...ive been watching the Gators since mid 80s... Dude is legit... We have had great QBs, but this cat is special. Lets ball out next year fellas

Billy loves guys with integrity so any chance of grabbing this guy from the portal after he transfers next year is probably gone haha. Florida didn't get fooled, they got lied to like a lot of other colleges.

I still stand by if you don't want to be a Gator , we don't want you either. Wilson would of made plenty being a Gator, been like what 2 hours from home, and he goes to Oregon. I get it Oreg9n a great program and he got the money, but again I don't want em.

I told myself the morning of/ night before signing day that as long as it stayed at least the same I would be happy. Plus a top 100 composite flip. Retention was the most important thing.

Shelton, this happens all the time, he’s 18 years old and was making all sorts of different decisions. Their minds are fleeting in their decisions change all the time. Ultimately he chose Oregon because that was the last school that his mom went to before she passed.

I believe Billy will do great with this class Billy has showed he can get some of the best talent without stars know Billy can do it look at rec. Quat.saf. l.b. ect. We just need a O.C. and we will be fine. GO GATORS

At the end of the day, the kid has to make sure he’s happy with his decision. You have to remember, they are 17 years old. It’s hard to predict what they are going to do.

Not a hater but we will never be where we need to be if we cant figure this out. Were 18th in player average. You have schools like Auburn/Oklahoma that are above us with worst records.

Don't worry about losing Dallas. We will get a top portal WR like Badger/Pearsal who will help us more in 2025. A portal OL will help more in 2025 than the 5* OG we lost.

This was not a fool, Oregon was the last school he was able to visit with his mother before she passed. So, this should be understandable to anybody with any human compassion. If you can't, move on with the rest of the animals.
