GAUI NX7 Build Part 1

In this video we get the first part done on the GAUI NX7 build. It’s nice to switch it up and build something different from SAB, but man I don’t miss the old days of heli kits! So many peace’s! But the GAUI NX7 is a quality kit and some very nice parts!

Nice! You will like it. They are definitely a nice heli but very out dated and a lot to build lol I might buy this one from the guy I built it for. Getting a price I can turn down!

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I am aware it's an older model, but I'm betting it flies just as good as my brand new PIUMA. The GUAI will allow me to take more chances and push myself without the real worry of crashing my more expensive helicopters.

He'll yeah been waiting for a Gaui build. I think gaui was way under rated for it's time. I have built my x7 and I love it it's the electric version.

Excited to build this one! Been a LONG time since I’ve built a kit like this lol lots and lots of peace’s. Makes me love how great the kits are now lol I’ve never flown a Gaui or built one but I’ve heard incredible things about them!

It's crazy what some of the pilots done with these in the past I've seen videos of how they use a stretch kit off a gx9 to convert the heli to a 800 size machine. While using a 6s lipo. I'm sure you could do the exact same thing to the Nx7 a lot of the parts are cross over to the x7 electric version.

Also I wanted to mention you could turn this heli into a 3 blade heli main blade and tail blade.

I am excited to try them! I have been wanting to try those servos for a while now and they are incredible quality they look fantastic and they have some very impressive torque specs! Are they noisy?

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I have the 7002HV and 7006HV Tail Servo. Sometimes they have a tendency to buzz a little... that's what I've found and have seen others say the same thing. Maybe the newer ones don't have that problem. Lots of Torque & Power though.

No I have not! I’ve been thinking about building a Gasser but I just don’t know which model I want to do.

Me too! There not backwards they are the way Gaui tells you do them. I had the other way first but the owner likes the way they are supposed to be.

Hey Jeff, great video series again. Quick question about balancing, do you balance the spinning assemblies like the fan and clutch before installation?

Hey Nate, no not all the time. I’ve very rarely come across one that needed to be balanced. If you want to be 100% certain if you could.
