Composed by Todd Matshikiza...he of the 'King Kong" musical of the early sixties. Todd, died in Lusaka, Zambia in 1968, and his remains were repatriated back to SA, just a few months ago. Coincidentally, Todd Matshikiza and Michael Moseou Moerane (President Thabo Mbeki's uncle) and the composer of "Sylvia Mtakwethu" were next door neighbors in Queenstown-e Komani. ...both gentlemen left us rich legacies. Ain't we Blessed 🌺

Reality is uMhlongo is too powerful, he realised most choirs didnt see ukuthi lengoma was all about Tempo... dont try to be fancy stick to the tempo the rest will fall in place.... **uNzima mfanakithi ngikwazela kwi SA**
