Its prepackaged frozen stuff that they have to prepare. Its not like this is fresh the butcher meat or anything like that. Just because they have to prep it doesn't mean none of is frozen. You get stuff at home frozen and still have to fry or prep it. Use your brain and what does them being nice have to do with the food?

I am Chinese, and I like Panda Express when on road trip and occasional craving. If I am super broke, that’s where I am going to camp out. Beijing beef, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, beef broccoli, and kung pao chicken pairing great with Lo Mein and cup of iced coke. Wish they serve a good cup of hot and sour soup though.

@@Korialx 这里只谈美式中餐，也有中国人开的美式中餐，将军鸡蒙古牛核桃虾那类的店，蒙古烧烤那种粗炒面，各有各的风味，性价比一般比那种正宗的中餐馆好很多。我是已经吃不起正宗的中餐馆了，一个菜动不动30几40几。关键看厨师水平，好的厨师那个蒙古牛也是顶级的。熊猫的碾压在于价格，$12他可以吃到三个菜。 现在工作不景气公司裁员，价格直接决定口味。一条$80的鱼，就是你特级厨师来烧成仙了我也觉得吃着难受，一顿饭tmd强制小费就是我一个星期的伙食了。还不如自己wee买个酸菜鱼料包煮点鱼片豆腐酸菜，不要太香。 一切的一切都看价格，$10-20的那个菜他就是实诚好吃，$80的那个菜他就是宰人恶心难吃。

The funny thing is that FOB Asians(Asians living in Asia) actually like Panda Express and see it as "American Cuisine". Panda Express in South Korea and Japan is packed, they even had a fake knock off in Kunnming China that did surprisingly well.

That's my exact sentiment as a Chinese person too. I think they get a bad rap but their honey walnut shrimp is bomb! Honey walnut shrimp is sold at authentic Cantonese style places too. I never order their fried rice because it looks more soy sauce based. I am however a fan though of their mixed healthy veggies. Though I think the chow mein is actually pretty good. To each their own though!

I totally ❤ Panda Express!!! I live in Southern NM, where there are no Panda Exs. On a recent month-long trip to South America, I had a stop over in Atlanta, Georgia. It was close to 1:00 P.M., so I wandered at the food courts and found a PANDA EX. I am a "foodie" and like exotic foods. That however, was not why I chose PE! It was because at that divine moment, they had the shortest line! Now where I live, most Chinese places will list something as 🌶🌶 on their menus, and when you order them, you're always sorely disappointed at the end: if you want any real heat you have to chew on and swallow the thick, dry husks of the chiles thrown into them. Not always a pleasant task. Anyway, I ordered several spicy items. And for the first and only time eating in a Chinese fast food---the food was actually SPICY!!! It was sooo good! Unlike fast food and even sit down restaurants, their spicy stuff really was SPICY!!! 🌶🌶🌶

Come to London chap🇬🇧💜 - & go to China Town here 💜💜 (this is an affectionate name, CT though!) - & I think ours was one of the first💜💜- we've had Chinese Immigrants since the 1500s here!💜💜) & you will find many Actual Chinese Restaurants💜💜 - with actual authentic Chinese food - & from various different Regions all over the place💜💜(not that often dreadful, super sweet kind - or worse that heavy deep fried kind of thing) we don't hv quire so many Fujianese ppl here though (as they do in say, NY) - but we have many from mainland China) & we do have quite a lot of authentic Chinese Restaurants where the owners/chefs "Aren't" from Hong Kong💜💜believe it or not! It's not all HK food in many Cities in the UK💜💜 Even this kind of thing; the ahem "westernised kinds" of Chinese food - that's never been Chinese food of any variety, but the kind that you get in regular takesways, which masquerades "Cantonese" - is better here than in the U S. Some cheap UK Chinese takeaways aren't good - but there are a few (& near my parents house, even at the local takeaway the egg fried rice (a UK takeaway speciality) - is as good as some restaurants in HK. When I visit I have the (obvs westernised) Kung Po & EFR, bc it's v good for that westernised type we hv here! (*We have had Chinese Immigrants in the UK since the 1500s💜💜) - & some of our iconic London Street signs are (also!) written in either Mandarin or Camtonese💜💜 - all over CT & even in other parts of London in former Trading areas💜💜 & if you go to Cambridge, some if the Chinese Restaurants there are out of this World good💜💜Worth a visit anyway - to see beautiful Cambridge & all of the many Historic/iconic Colleges & Buildings there - & then go find some amazing Chinese food. Stay at least 4 days preferably a week! (Cambridge University Students have it good, there - there are some lower priced places that are still v good)🌏💜🙏🏻💜🇬🇧💜

Was a "default" lunch where I worked of one something quick. So needless to say probably will never visit again. At my local Panda, ordered broccoli beef. 1 small lonely sliver of beef and raw broccoli. And they were rude and condescending. Guess what? I wasn't the only one unhappy. They did not address the issue and were out of business in a matter of a few weeks. A nice Japanese/ American restaurant opened. Food is decent, prices fair for the most part and they are doing a slam bang business. Franchise Owner / staff very welcoming. The staff determines the success of just about any business. Treat them respectfully and pay them a decent wage. Yes there will be a bad apple occasionally, easy to weed out.
