i find it very interesting actually as well. its always seen as a hard market for a brit to break into usa, and from various articles and even psychology videos the general consensus is that especially in rap music (but also pop or other styles) its harder for americans to understand and comprehend an english accent (a bit more mind processing, but no different from a londoner trying to comprehend someone from liverpool or newcastle) but even that subtle differences in accent are a form of barrier. i think whats different with ren is his rapping (and singing) voice clarity is VERY clear, he pronounces words way better than other artists i think (i noticed it most in his acoustic version of murderer you can physically see him stretching his mouth to pronounce words in the best possible way). i wonder where (or when) he picked that up from... maybe im imagining it i dunno, but SOMETHING seems different to get such attention from an american audience, we only need to count the number of usa reaction channels who react to ren compared to the number of uk channels, there is WAY MORE from usa (sure larger population but still...)

Ren is one of the few artists who actually cares about his fans so having his song Sick Boi that not only means a lot to his fans but also means the world to him for obvious personal reasons basically ripped from him is beyond messed up. The way Kujo did him is disgusting and disrespectful and his gf decided to bring herself into it so she’s fair game.
