Gay and Straight Friends

Growing up in small town central Wisconsin and finally coming out at 33, all my male friends were straight. Small towns get a bad reputation but that is not my experience. I moved to other small communities after coming out and never had any real issues. It's funny, I thought I was fooling every one prior to coming out... I wasn't because the response more times than not was "yeah, glad you finally figured it out" or something like that. My straight male friends have stood by me and to this day are there without question.

late seeing this. 6 years late.lol. I think in the past 6 years a lot has happened....all good for the LGBTQA+ community. I have the same beliefs Zade does....never judge anyone. period! I work retail, have always had atleast 1 person i work with in the lgbt community. Customers as well. Last month, June (PRIDE month) i went to 2 different pride parties with 2 different gay friends and had the best time. So yes straight people can have gay good friends and vice versa because to me the bottom line is for everyone in the world to be happy.

Never seen you two guys, before I thought one of you was going to say they was gay. I was trying to guess which one it was. I think people automatically think of sex when someone comes out as lesbian gay or bisexual. It’s wrongwrong if a straight person has a partner. You don’t automatically think about them having sex.🇬🇧
