I was there in February. Thanks to you, I can see the new bars which opened after I left. The area is definitely coming back from the Covid time. Can you do a video of the next area to the south of this street (the walkway with the dolphin fountain)? It has bars, restaurants, and the massage shops. Good job!

Paradise Complex has been changing a lot since my last visit 20 years ago. A lot of dancers now were probably in their diapers back then; never knowing that their parents would sent them to make money in the 'tourist industry' and send it home. In those days, I stayed in Aquarius and had a beautiful junior suite room there. The owner was not Dutch but Scandinavian.

In Thailand, if you wanted a tip, which will always get you better service anywhere you go the minimum tip would be 20Baht 50 is a good tip and 100 baht is an excellent tip. The Thais ireally appreciate when people tip them.

You remember Tangmo club? Shows and a pretty impressive stable of rent boys. Demographics and the financial crisis - I think about 2008-2009 until maybe 2016 even it seemed to me the gay area of Phuket really took a hit. Boat bar was well past its sell by date - mega tired shows . Good to seem some remnants of the scene there.

I can understand you wanting to film and share your amazing Thailand travel adventures. I too have been visiting and now living in Thailand for over 25 years. But have you stopped to think about both the customers and staff you are filming in these gay bars? Particularly those who may not want their private activities revealed to the world. Believe it or not, there are still many gay people who come to places like Thailand to enjoy themselves in a relaxed, private and closeted manner. Which is their prerogative. For various cultural, religious and political reasons, there are some gay people who can’t be themselves in their home country. The same applies to some of the bar staff, whose families in rural areas don’t know about their jobs in gay bars. By filming indiscriminately, without people’s consent, you may have just inadvertently “outed” them to the world. Perhaps next time, think about the consequences of posting videos that could result in severe family, business or political ramifications to the person concerned. Happy travels.

In many cases, people are live-streaming or posting right away, so the atmosphere is already quite open to filming. I’m mindful to capture the general vibe and avoid close-ups on specific individuals, as my goal is to showcase the fun, inclusive atmosphere rather than anyone's private moments. I want everyone to feel comfortable and respected in any space I share. Thanks again for following along on my journey-I’m grateful for viewers like you who care deeply about these places!
