I'm gay and I have been an enthusiastic patron of many gay saunas since my teens, half my life come to think of it, I'm 32. Anyway, the one thing that is not good for a gay sauna is to be run by gay staff. They will have "favorite" customers, friends even, and the other customers won't like that. Better to have straight staff who are kind, helpful but professional and who treat everybody equal. @UCL21HVZHJ2aq1t1dPX_UV0w I was tall so I looked older, I put on a tie and wore a lanyard with the badge of some office I had found left behind in a toilet. BS! I lived in LA for 40 years, there were never "dozens" of gay bath houses. There were less than a hand full and that was before the AIDS crisis. Maybe you are thinking about the many gay bars?

He just doing his job. As long as he focus and dedicated to what he is doing, he is sure a lot awesome + fantastic man than ppl whom constantly giving gay hard times, provoke, bashing, homophobic etc

Most Europeans have a Fem side to them and they are touch with it in an organic way, we as Americans(and other countries), are raised to refrain from those qualities, I’ve traveled all over the world 🌎(except for Russia and North Korea), I see the trend, we deserve more as humans

He’s a cool guy and I have more respect for his honesty. He’s helping to educate. Caution of the unknown is a healthy reaction I imagine. I remember this guy couple taking over the newsagents on the way to school. We didn’t really know what they were about but soon grew to love them. Then a few years later i had my first physical experience.

This job isn't any more "gross" than working in a hospital or nursing home when it comes to cleaning bodily excretions. I bet if he put out a tip jar in the sauna he would make a lot of extra money on the side. .

Back in the 70s I visited the 3 bath houses in my area of Long Beach Calif. I enjoyed the whole scene.

Having a straight man working in a gay sauna would actually be an asset.....a bit like having a teetotaler working as a barman.

I've only been to a gay sauna once (in Dublin). It was clean and welcoming, and I had a good time.

Oh my, the guy is awesome. I worked the apparel department in a Kmart back in the 80s. Ever since then i never leave a mess. It was disgusting what people left in the changing rooms. I am gay and have been out for almost 40 years. Never got into the casual sex scene but for a few years in college. A lot of my friends didn't make it in the 80s due to AIDS.
