The most awkward male exam I ever had was by a young, snickering, inexperienced, female doctor and her younger, snickering, more inexperienced, assistant that decided the best way to approach the situation was to kneel down in front of me and reach up under the hospital gown and grope around. From other exams, by both male and female doctors, she misted the objective completely as none of the usual, suspect, areas, were inspected, having had a lump in the past. I decided then I would reserve the right for who would examined me, whether it looked prejudice or not.
@lennybuttz2162 Жыл бұрын
If it's a random doctor that you don't feel confident about it's OK to ask for a different one or refuse the exam especially if there's no physical need for it. If someone snickered at me and I hadn't made a joke I would've have given them the death stare and told them to get out. After the exam I would have asked to speak to their supervisor and laid it on the line.

Oh my God, this is hysterical! When I was 14, I had testicular torsion, in other words, the blood flow to my testicles was cut off because the blood vessels twisted, causing gut wrenching, agonizing pain that required surgery to correct. When you’re 14, it just takes a slight breeze to make things rise, and wouldn’t you know it, I had a female doctor, then another female doctor with FIVE female students, and female nurses… not one bloody man to be seen anywhere, the entire staff was all women, I asked my father what was he thinking taking me to that hospital?. It was the most humiliating, embarrassing time of my life. I was an agony, but Mr. happy would still stand up at attention and say hello to every doctor that came in to exam me! I can relate to the character in this video! I will never forget that, although I wish I could, aside from the physical pain, it was so embarrassing. I wanted to crawl under a rock and die!

Once you're over 40ish then prostate cancer is the big worry. at that young age, it is very terrifying to go through that exam. not that it gets any better as you get older. the first thing you think about is cancer.

I'm curious about the diagnosis,i know it's not real..but is it an inguinal hernia or a varicocele or maybe an epididymitis?
@ted19903 жыл бұрын
Epididymitis would be more painful when they touched it. I’m guessing it’s gonna be testicular cancer.
