Thanks to Woodland Trust from whose livestream I took this clip. Check out their live cameras on Nest One and Nest Two supported by players of People's Postcode Lottery at www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/ospreys
In this clip, as observed by WT forum member Elaine who says:
Scrolling back, I see some brief but exciting action in the distance.
11:07:36 onwards raven calls heard, getting closer. Osprey alarm calls off camera.
11:08:01 Raven appears below logo, flying right to left, followed by another.
11:08:05 Large raptor golden eagle? emerges from somewhere below centre perch, rising
11:08:06 Osprey enters top of frame , left of centre
11:08:07 Large raptor and osprey converge, raptor rolling on to its back, legs in the air, flipping over and flying on as if nothing has happened. Cannot say if contact between them.
11:08:08 osprey flies to top of frame, dropping small object, and disappears above "Arkaig"
At least I think that's what I saw! Would be interested to know what others think. The large raptor looked larger than an osprey, mainly dark with white patches on wings and tail.

Apologies I don't have time to respond individually - Dorcha was injured in the fracas with the eagle today 19th April. Two ravens were also involved, you can hear them kronking, Louis wasn't. She is favouring her right leg, and obviously she has cuts, but please remember she is fit and healthy, and Osprey nests aren't filled with unhygienic leftovers like other raptor nests, so she should be ok. Will keep you posted via video clips. G

Thanks for the info. & the slow motion film @Geemeff Poor Dorcha, she the main defender, as most females are, it's good the nest is full of moss & no food as you say. It looks like it hurts, I hope she can heal soon.🙏🏻

Thank you Geemoff. An eagle! Poor Dorcha she certainly looked hurt. Hope she manages to heal quickly. Some better weather would be a kindness. And I was worrying about an owl!

Yes, I think Dorcha & Louis paired up to chase Eagle away. Dorcha attack Eagle & we see it roll over,, this is possibly where Dorcha got injured, her right leg bleeds a bit. 😢 I pray she heals quickly. 🙏🏻

Oh dear! Is this when Dorcha was injured. ❤ She left the nest so quickly. It looks like Louis & Dorcha paired up to chase this big Eagle or Kite away, it barrel rolled after being struck. Maybe Dorcha attacked & got scratched by this bird as it rolled? Could hear Ravens around,, hope Dorcha can relax & heal. She been nervous lately.🙏🏻

Yes, that's what I think, going by size, wings & agility. Not a buzzard. Remember at start of last Season a golden Eagle landed on nest for a minute, just before the Ospreys returned. Hope Dorchas wound heals quickly.🙏🏻

Could have been a White-Tailed Egle (Sea Eagle), they also nest at Loch Arkaig along with Golden Eagles)

The barrel roll has my jaw on the floor, so elegant for such a big raptor. My word.

Why is the nest empty. What's happening

It's ok for them to leave the nest from time to time briefly, at this stage, they don't go far, but obviously there was an intruder to deal with today.

Could it have been a sea eagle? Looks really big compared to the Osprey it seems to attack.

Hi 👋🏻 Usually there isn't any trouble between the Ospreys & Eagles here. This Eagle must be too close to the nest at egg laying time.
