It’s always fun to see someone else’s stash. I also have a vast collection of vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations-more than I have space to display, but I still can’t pass up a garage sale find. Covid has put a pause on that, hasn’t it? I miss thrifting even though I have plenty of vintage everything to make my journals. It’s the thrill of the hunt, right? Sometimes I wonder how long it will be before we feel we can go out safely. They say maybe by next fall, which is a long, long time. But God is good. We have all that we need and enough to share with others. Well, I’m rambling. Happy crafting!

I really like the 2 new pockets you designed and the one you made with stacking rectangles! I'm a boomer and this journal brings back lots of memories! Thank you for making it. Me too, I grew up in the 50s and 60s and sometimes wax nostalgic for all the cute things, not necessarily the times. Even though you can sometimes look back and think it was idyllic it wasn’t the best of times for women, especially women who are independent. Now you would never hear “ Women can’t wear pants to work“, “you’re too young to get your tubes tied, you might change your mind“(yes we silly women can’t make up our minds)“you bought a truck, but you’re a girl“, “You bought a house by yourself, what if you find a man”. Oddly enough I got less flack over buying a house when I was in my 20s and I did over buying a truck, I heard about that so much but when you own a home you kind of need a truck sometimes.

Your excitement over the snow ❄️ is so sweet. When we have snow in north Louisiana we think we are going to be snowbound for a month by a quarter inch of snow. We don’t deal with snow very well.

I would be happy to watch the organization of the drawer. I'm always looking out for new ways to organize my stuff, so I watch a lot of them. Although I love everything Santa, I think this retro book may wind up being my favorite. It's not my childhood, my parents actually, but people have always said I was born a generation late since I love the music and so much more from that era. I was teased some as a kid for it, but now that I'm 50 no one bats an eye!

Love the Christmas card with the little girl, that reminds me of my grandmother, she gave me cards like that, wish I had saved some of those cards! Gayle, I love watching any video you make! I always learn something and am always entertained. I'm in Virginia. We are expecting 1-3 inches of snow sleet and freezing rain tomorrow. A big YES vote for the destashing/organizing video! I am inthe process of doing that very thing myself. I saw the video on your carts you got and decided that was the answer to my problems. I put them on my birthday list and my son and husband got them for me. I was a lucky (maybe good) girl and got them a couple days early. They are all put together and I'm off as we speak to go play. You have taught me so much about journal making and I get a little better with each one. I now have so much more confidence thanks to you ;-) Keep up the good work, you are awesome.

I love the tree on the cover. It works perfectly with the didymuns I was born in 64 and I remember the stuff from 60s and early 70s. If course i was child #4 so many ornaments and decorations we had were bought r made before i was born very 50s and 60s. Yes please, I'd like to go through your crafty draws with you. Who doesn't want to peek inside someone else's house. And things like that are more fun if you can chat with friends while you do it.!!

Your "envelope" pocket with the hole in the flap would make a wonderful gift-card holder to hang on the tree. I've never seen one quite like it. I have, however, seen you make a wrap-around pocket in a journal. I like the simplicity of this one, though. I also love your 3-scraps layered pocket with the rounded corner. I may use that on a greeting card. As for organizing, I get jealous when I see your stash but I like seeing how you organize. It helps motivate me.

You are never boring, even when you’re doing boring things you’re not boring. I love to watch people clean and organize, sometimes I think I like those videos better than actual crafting. I belong to a couple of Facebook organizing and decluttering groups and I like to watch professional organizers on KZbin. Although, it’s a little hard sometimes to watch some people who have hoarding tendencies and they just can’t get rid of things that makes it a little hard they’re trying to hang onto some things that I would just put straight in the trash. But yes, I would love to watch you organize anything you want to organize if you want to read the phonebook to us I will watch.

Those envelopes in the beginning give me a couple of ideas for neighbors or special friend's or even the mail lady/man. Put a couple of tea bags or a packet of hot cocoa mix with a little note saying "Warm Winter Wishes" in it and tie it to their door knob. 😊

Organization tips are always needed. No matter how much I try to clear away un necessary items from my work area it never makes a difference as far as how much work space i have. So yes let me watch you organize and maybe even getting rid of "stuff"
