Great question Nassim. The key with thickening liquids is to make sure to have precise measurements of both the thickening agents and liquids to achieve the desired viscosity. I recommend working with a Speech Language Pathologist, who is familiar with your dad’s situation, to determine alternative ways to thicken liquids specific to your dad’s needs. I have thickened liquids with fruits such as bananas, avocados and soups with the use of potatoes or potato flakes, just to give you some examples of what has worked for me in the past. Have u known anyone to drink their liquids like this n only like this for a year or longer? Cause its not liquid like regular water. Wouldn't u still feel thirsty cause its too thick
