You are a great presenter. You impart great info in a very natural way, but without the typical awkwardness of most youtubers. Despite your self effacing graphic your camera work is spot on as is your editing. Loved the comment as you showed the long legged version. Your sense of humor is sharp.

if you didn't know Gaz were bought out by coleman along with epigas but that style of large bluet are still made and available as coleman. I've got a set of the pans i've had for 30 years and now use with a petrol stove, bluets were no use for a soldier so the stove got swapped I think.

Thanks for that information, very helpful, I will try it. Best regards

I have a 50-year old Super Bleuet, but at least I can still get the cannisters for it ;) Originally it took C200 cannisters, but C206 also seem to work (that is what I have in it at the moment) There were butane/propane mix cannisters in the C206 size a number of years ago, but these days only butane ones seem available. Never mind. I have (I think) about 7 C206 butane cannisters, and that will see me fine for a while!

Hi quick question, the 206s stove where u insert the cannister and screw upwards and it pierces the top of cannister,,can I unscrew it after use,,and re insert it for next use, and does it reseal itself once I unscrew it. I've done it a few times and a little gas pressure release at end but fine..im afraid il move on off switch if it's kept in and leak gas then.

@@saabman No. That is one of the downsides to the design. AFAIK the modern C206 "Gas Lock System" is only designed to make the cannister more leak resistant. So I always end up carrying a spare cannister in case the one I have in use runs out.

You compared two canisters, a small and larger one. Does the larger one of the two fit as well? I'm presuming it won't then fit into the pans/carriers?
@nzlatimer4 жыл бұрын
Hi the larger one fits if you put standard legs on the body

Hi, there is a procedure for refilling those canisters which requires the connector hose for the Bulin S9/TK800 multi fuel camp stove, this hose has a M6 x 1.0mm ISO female thread which will require a short length of 6mm hollow brass studding to fit in place of the jet having unscrewed it. This procedure entails weighing the stove to determine the quantity of gas used to refill the canister which must be done in situ. It is very important that the movement of the seal housing is checked, the sealing surface on the empty cylinder is clean and the condition of the rubber seal itself. Refit the empty cylinder to the stove, remove the burner, unscrew the jet replacing it with the 6mm hollow stud, fit the hose onto the hollow stud then screw on a self sealing gas cylinder onto the tap, turn on both the camping gaz and connector hose taps to check for leaks. Gas will flow into the pierced cylinder with both taps open, refill whilst checking the weight, when full, close the tap on the camping gaz stove first followed by the connector hose tap. Remove the hose and hollow stud, refit the brass jet and finally refit the burner assembly then you're good to go.

Hi Nikolaj, thanks for your comment , you are correct they still make the larger gas cannisters, however I was referring to the small gas canisters for the globe trotter cook kit which are no longer in production.
