I saw my own Gramma in Colleen(Marilla). Tough as nails on the outside, but with a huge heart inside. My Gramma and Grampa were my Marilla and Mathew

Colleen Dewhearst was the reason for the success of this series. The balance between drama and humor-what a wonderful laugh!-was caught beautifully. It is sad that there are so few examples of her art on film.
