Dimash plays 7 musical instruments, he owns a Doctorat in Music very recently, I might add, and due to Covid, he is now able to sing in 8 octaves. Before covid poor him, he could only do 6 octaves.

Have fun on your Dimash journey. Lots to discover and one thing I will tell you is that once you think you’ve seen or heard it all, you will still be in for surprises. No other talent like him. He is pure joy to watch and listen to. This particular performance still brings tears to my eyes. After what must be 100 plus times I’ve seen it. Cause he went hard and the emotion combined with that unreal voice gets me every time. A suggestion for next up would be Daybreak. An emotional filled song that he shreds your soul with his delivery. I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this song! He truly does give 100% (and maybe more) in this performance. The people that the camera focuses on who are not in the audience, are the other competitors. Dimash is so nice that they all seem to have become his friends and when he was sick they helped him. Shortly after I discovered Dimash I watched his "Concert in the Rain". It was an outdoor event and included many singers I think but by the time it was Dimash's turn it was raining. The fans had waited for something like 6 hours for him so he just did a mini concert (30 min) in the rain until his people insisted that he leave. Even then he stalled a bit and got them to take a "selfie" of him with his Dears! After seeing that video I knew why his fans loved him so much! There are also a lot of short (and longer) interview videos where you can see more of what he's like. He is also a lot of fun and enjoys joking around with his friends. He said that was one of the hardest parts about being in China where he didn't speak the language-that he couldn't joke! Oh, the "a" in Dimash is pronounced like "a" in "mama" rather than the "a" in "ash". I hope you will continue to enjoy many more Dimash songs and performances!

This was when he was in a Chinese competition, I Am Singer. He was a wild card in the show because he isn't from China. His dad is a pop singer and mom an opera singer. He wanted to fuse the two music's together. He holds notes much longer than in this song. He is truly a blessed gift to all of us. Very humble too. His latest song Stranger is something else. He is totally amazing as a human being and a top tier singer, easily the best I have ever heard and in my lifetime that covers a lot. He makes me emotional at every performance and this song is even more so; he kills it. Have listened to him everyday for over 5+ years since discovering him. When I first heard him do two of my all time favorite songs; one French and one Russian, he had me from then on. No one has performed those songs like DIMASH.

Try Te Amo Cosi. Thank you for letting the song build before you commented. An idiot a week ago chopped it up so bad with his blathering that the impact of the performance was completely lost. Just for theatricality and emotional impact this may be one of my favorites. He had the crowd whipped into a frenzy.
