The service light needs software to reset. I don't think there are any hard resets tricks.

Thanks for the video, mate. I'm a complete imbecile when it comes to any sort of mechanics so to me, this was very helpful. I have the spanner on my dash on a bike I have just purchased (used obviously). How would I get ride of the spanner? What other simple service tasks should I be doing? Thanks in advance, Daniel.

Either pay a dealer or buy Dealertool. We have a video on using it.

you should use engine flush before change new oil

Not if you change your oil at the regular intervals

great video thanks, I notice some people are pouring some oil into the filter before screwing it on, but you didn't do it? Is there a difference?

It will make a mess if you do. Just remember that after you run the engine to top the oil up.

Thanks. Any reason to replace the washer each time if it doesn't appear damaged?

The washer is an aluminium gasket. They aren't expensive, but unless it clearly won't seal, you might as well keep it.
