Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are right. No one should go after another fan over what they want to hear. This song is very endearing. Dimash and his parents singing to his grandparents. What an honor. I have no idea what year this was but someone will know. Dimash and his family are extremely close and that too is endearing.

The three he kneeled down to are his Grandparents. The Man in the middle and the lady on the right are his Papa and Mama. His dad's parents They raised him the first ten years of his life according to Kazak tradition. The other lady is Sveta's mother. His Papa (grandfather) died last spring at 82. His dears, by the millions, grieved along with the family.

Thank you. The reason why someone requested this clip is probably because of that bit where Dimash walked to the front of the stage, put one knee down, stretched his arm out, and sang, “precious mother, you are the extension of my life, your devotion etc…” So, Dimash was the firstborn son but also the first born grandson of his paternal grandparents. According to Kazakh tradition, he was given to his grandparents to raise. It’s the old man sitting between the two old ladies with white headdresses. The one wiping tears is his maternal grandmother, and the one in dark clothing is Miua, his paternal grandmother. She quit her job as a high school teacher to stay home and raise him. Sveta and Kanat (Dimash’s parents) both had successful careers as professional singers. Dimash loved his grandmother dearly and called her Mama (to this day). She herself sang, and noticed Dimash’s musical talent early on. She registered him with a music school and took him daily for lessons though she had knee problems at the time. Before every competition, she would worry with him, nurture him, pray for him, and when he’d usually win , she would cry. If you watched the extended clip of Dimash from Singer 2017, after episode 2, when they tallied the first round and he got first place, he called his “Mama” via video call on his cell phone to tell her. She started crying, and after hanging up, Dimash smiled with tears and said, now she’s going to cry all night. That’s how close they are. Now this performance was the second song in a concert held to celebrate Dimash’s return to Kazakhstan after his five months in China and his meteoric rise to international fame during that time. The program became so popular that the last three episodes, which were the battle between the top three contestants, was televised live from Kazakhstan. Now Dimash first sang a patriotic song, then this. He did so to honor and thank his “Mama” for everything she’d done for him, which allowed him to reach this success. And he did so in full view of the thousands of live spectators and the millions online. That’s why Grandma Miua lost her countenance and started fumbling in her purse for a tissue. You know, in this day and age when young people think of no one but themselves, and think their success is all due to themselves, such a trait of character is rare. Remembering who made all this possible, and giving them thanks and credit publicly. 😢❤ I burst into tears when I watched this back in 2017, and still do every time I rewatch this. Such filial piety is so rare in children let alone grandchildren. Last year, Dimash’s paternal grandfather passed away after months of battling kidney failure. Dimash was extremely sad, and composed and sang Omir (the mood video) around that time. This was for him a time of reflection on his life, his early expectations, his eventual successes, and his constant wondering about whether he’d done anything wrong at any point that he would regret. You should react to that video. Although it shows clips of his successes, the overall tone is melancholy, reflecting his musing on the meaning of life.

Maybe you can watch Raushan singing All By Myself which she duets with Dimash. She does not want to be a singer, but a doctor. Their brother Mansur, is following Dimash by going to music college. He’s quite shy at 17 but doesn’t sing yet but plays at least three instruments and composes. He has appeared on stage with Dimash a few times.

Glad you stood your ground for your channel! There is nothing wrong with this song, & all songs help with seeing Diamsh as a person. He knelt down to his grandparents in the audience. There is also another called Astana Waltz where he sings with his parents, & 2 of his vocal teachers. Mum is Sveta, dad is Kanat. Dimash & his family own the production company called Dimashali, that does Dimash music, concerts, etc.

Can we not have honest conversation? Even best friends don't always agree. I saw someone really didn't like a song that was requested. They thought the song was terrible. The other person said they really liked it, then said why. The dislike was about the song. Not the commenter. That is honest conversation. Now, when someone comes in and insults another person that is different. One fighter makes discomfort for everyone for years now. Life is life. This song is beautiful, but always makes me sad. Another song he sings I also never listen to, due to it being too emotional for me. I'm always depressed after. We all have our own reasons. I think it is better to have conversations to try to form understanding.
@GroovyLavaSquirrelMedic9 ай бұрын
Definitely can have good conversations but when it boils down to name calling and such I won’t tolerate it in my comments. We are here to enjoy music together. Not shit all over people. I had multiple people messaging me over the same person. It is what it is.
