Nice job Tim!!!! Bought this plane when it came out. It lives in the back of my car pretty much all i fly lately. Able to get 20 mins on a battery powering up and letting her glide down. Good stuff!!

Very nice video, beautifully filmed. Love the silky 60 frames-per-second quality! Skillful piloting and control and beautiful landing, from this layperson's perspective! Part of me wishes these sorts of craft came in a lacquer-band driven variant so that the barrier to entry is as low as possible, but maybe the physics would mean that wouldn't even be able to sustain any flight.

I get 26min flight time on one battery all the time. I can thermal, fly the Raiden as far out until its just alittle spec in the sky then I turn it down and spiral it down until I can see a shape again , then I just glide it around until I'm about 50 to 60 feet off the ground and repeat. up then soar down its really fun.

I love mine too! My V1 UMX Radian dang near gave me a heart attack when I flew it out way too far away and lost sight of it for about two minutes. Luckily, I spotted it as it was turning just right and brought it in safely. I was darn lucky! 👊🏻💥👊🏻

It needs an easy lite on each wingtip for orientation. I like how Radians fly. The UMX is one I'll have to keep an eye open for at the swap meets. I have the NR.

Radians do fly very well. I am not too sure how well adding lights would work, but this at sunset or before is a ton of fun 👊🏻💥👊🏻

Great video! I havent flown a glider of any kind for about 25 years but watching this one with its swept up wings gave me powerful flashbacks of flying the borrowed Precedent Electrafly I taught myself to fly with. That one had a 6 foot span and was just 2 channel....how much easier it is for people now. I wouldnt mind a Radian if one came up second hand but I am holding out hoping E Flite will re release the Waco.
