Who knows what goes on behind closed doors? In this case there were red flags , no one cared enough to take forward and the case was closed within days , who is accountable? Please play the race card that's just shrugging the responsibilities . There are many children like Sara who might have been killed or injured in circumstances like this ? Staying alert and vigilant it should be a priority at schools and keep an eye on the child's body language , stay engaged with a child, come down to their level , let child write or draw in confidence what ever trauma they may be going through ?

One on hand social services remove children from perfectly safe homes and on the other hand they fail the ones that actually need help. Social services need to have a proper curriculum as well as liabilities if they are found of professional failures. It is a huge job and it seems like people who don’t find any other work become social workers. It should have been the other way round, intellectual and well groomed employees people who have a good insight into cultural norms should come into this field and know what is allowed and what is not. It is allowed in Islam to check a girl who is a potential of abuse at home. The failure is of social services. Not of people being culturally sensitive
