Sir Keir Starmer’s on an ego trip. He’s still got this director of public prosecutions attitude going around in his head. Wielding all this power and authority now he’s the PM. He thinks he’s untouchable. Pity we have to put up with him and his lot for the five years. The way he’s going they’ll all be out.

We can but hope! People were warned by Rishi Sunak about the tax rises, etc., but they didn't listen! Why would anyone think that it was a good idea to vote for an egocentric, DPP obsessed, Republican for PM?? Sadly people are getting what they voted for, and now complaining 🙄Agreed the Tories shot themselves in their collective feet, with Partygate and the Truss debacle, but how could Labour ever be the answer? 😡 🙋‍♀️😳🤪

As prime minister, being in receipt of gifts is hardly a surprise, and certainly not a crime. Why are people so greedy that they can't handle an important person sharing the spoils of fame, and in his case, responsibility - love him or not.

@@juliechurley2716 It does certainly come across as an injustice that the rich and or famous, whilst never in need of gifts, are in receipt of them. Whining about it in the news, though, seems a bit ignorant of that innevitability. It is an unfortunate reality that we must be privvy to such goings on, but it does help generate news content and by extension increase traffic and generate revenue for news outlets. Swift *could* have opted to go cheaper, perhaps offering them a signed copy of her latest album, some merch and a selfy etc. but, she probably thought that might be a bit stingy. Having given 21k in donations to Crosscare for food banks, I think a few tickets is the least she can treat the pm with. I don't much like the picture being painted in the news. It is almost akin to the harrowing and wanting sensation I got/get when watching the poor being fleeced by the tax collector, and then seeing the nasty, child-like King, surrounded by huge bags of coins spilling out onto the floor in his bedroom, donning a large jewelled robe and wearing an oversized, equally jewelled gold crown in Disneys Robin Hood. It cleverly depicts the misappropriation and accumulation of wealth, specifically at the expense of perpetuating poverty. Sadly, we don't have a Robin Hood to steal and redistribute that wealth to the poor. Any takers?

A nation of immigrants I’m hearing , well us ole boys and girls out in the countryside are still free of this new pandemic, I see our cities falling to this disease and some towns are also being overrun, the change is happening far too quickly and must be stopped or we will lose our once green and pleasant land as we’ve known it, something has to be done now.
