GBO2 Geara Zulu (EH): Most absurd heavy attack?!

This video is a recent match I had with the recently released Geara Zulu (EH) on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a raid with very short range but powerful build stun and an insanely powerful heavy attack. In this video I played pretty sloppy compared to usual but I still hope you can enjoy it.
Its primary weapon is a compact beam machine gun with 600x3 power, 18 ammo, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload time, 200m range and 25%x3 stagger value. The range is quite short but DPS and time to stun are very good.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam naginata with 2600 power, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 1 second focus time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100/80/60% combo modifier and 60%x7 charged modifier. The melee moveset is the same as Char's Dijeh but the heavy attack is a very fast multi hit move with long range. You can use it after a stun as long as they don't have a dodge roll. This will be your primary damage tool due to how absurd it is.
Your first sub weapon are hand grenades with 1800 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 3 ammo, 13 seconds reload and 60% stagger value. These work well to combo into the primary for easier stuns.
Its second sub weapon is a sturm faust launcher with 2500 power, 1 ammo, 13 seconds reload, 200m range and 80% stagger value. This effectively works like a pocket bazooka so it is great to use before a melee combo.
In terms of stats and skills the Geara Zulu EH is somewhat overtuned. HP is very high at 20500 with a medium sized frame. You have both MA LV2 and Damage Control LV2 so you are very hard to stop once boosting. You lack dodge roll in compensation though. Mobility is high with 130 walking speed, 225 boosting speed, 75 thrusting and 69 turning speed. You also have standard 600 cost skills such as LV2 Flight Control and LV2 Forced Injector. Most strangely though, it has the normally support exclusive skill Observational Data Link. This means you can see enemy HP bars and automatically share this with allies.
It is a pretty simple suit to play. You have the fastest charging heavy attack in the game so you can easily confirm it from your own knockdowns, allied knockdowns, counter tackles or even your own stuns in some cases. Your range is pretty short so you can't really do much to supports on larger maps so try to keep it to maps good for melee suit. Careful positioning is needed because you have no dodge roll but otherwise you are very strong in terms of defences and defensive skills.
Overall I think that the Geara Zulu (EH) is incredibly strong on the right maps and if played correctly. It is somewhat similar to Hazel II in playstyle if you have played that before. I recommend rolling for it if you need a 600 melee focused raid. This video was certainly sloppy in many areas so I promise that my next video will feature much more clean gameplay.

This is why I usually avoid heavy attack raids haha. I always end up friendly firing with them too much which does more harm than good.

@@avenger1_gbo260 this is y i suck at heavy attack based ms or those who relies heavily on melees instead of stuns(say that scum gallus, zee zulu, RE-gz, braylant custom, etc, etc). I hesitate way too damn much when charging a melee(fear of accidentally ruining someone's or entire team's day, get fuckin counter+ratioed, the feeling a teammate walking into my charged attack to melee a toppled enemy ms). But damn, im a sucker for any gearas, dogas, and zulus variants. I wpuld embark on my trip to learning all of these variants' pros and cons

You could probably use the heavy attack on this suit like the BC’s as a movement tool as well since it looks like you can travel a good distance with it.

Spin to win! I can see 600 cost rooms being really dangerous for supports. Maybe my Dreissen will do me some good in those rooms for a while, nice MS with an instant knockdown axe. All that said, this MS looks very entertaining, not as cheap as the Schuzrum Gallus for sure.

Man I hope this is not the direction GBO2 keeps going with "MELEE RULES ALL AND SUPPORTS WILL BE FREE POINTS AND A FREE KILL!" I like playing supports but how many time I can count where I keep bombed rushed by not only raids but generals and get one melee combo killed is kind of getting infuriating especially heavy attacks like this one. I also think they should make a mechanic where you take 1/4 of the damage that you would have do if you hit your teammate to start making people stop melee spamming one downed enemy and knocking down all their teammates constantly but that's just me.

Oh goodie another support main who thinks Raids are too op, and thinks BB doesn't make strong Support suits despite the fact that Zeta C1, Zeta HML, Delta Gundam, FAHSK, Kshatriya, Angelo's Zulu, and other good tons of high cost supports exist. Should Supports have an alternative option so they don't die as fast when caught alone against a Raid, yes they should, but should it be to the point that it acts as a negation to Raids in general, well then when does the line stop?

@@WatcherMovie008Ok I could have worded that better but i do agree with you on most of what you say bit my problem lies with the fact that raids just have to look at a support and boom half health off, now I know where I stand as a support main I DO NOT and never will counter a raid type but I wish I can buy time for my general allies to assist me (which almost never happens) but when it does... what can they really do shoot them? Stagger resistance. Melee them down. Melee priority and slower. I'm at the point at saying generals dont counter raid types they just do more damage to them. That's my problem I just want more time for something to happen besides full health to zero in one combo before my allies can even react. (Also I dont own any of those suits sadly so I actually dont know what they can do.)

It depends on which supports you play. A great many of them have the stun build tools or can otherwise position themselves in a way that they can delay raids quite a bit with skill. Heavy staggers like on Angelo Zulu, Zaku 1 Sniper or Zeta C1 work very well. Stun build like on Zssa, MLRS, Gelgoog Ground Type or Hamma Hamma also works very well.
