I use Google Keyboard on my Huawei P30 Pro but I don't know if anyone else suffers from the same problem, when you are typing a message, does it ever put a letter next to a name, for instance, it left a v, so instead of the sentence saying, I will be home at 9pm, it said, vI will be home at 9pm, I always get an unwanted letter v and my finger was nowhere near the v.

Indeed, but think this way - Google, unlike Apple, supports multiple platforms. When Google released Duo and Allo, they released both apps to both platforms, to not "make it exclusive" and allow users to freely talk to each other, regardless of platform - which hits a large market share. However, Apple has made apps like iMessanger and FaceTime exclusive to iOS users only.

It's not googles issue. the gif option is in the app/keyboard, in the emoji tab, but gifs are not supported by all apps

RENZO LOUIS Some (most) messaging apps don't support gif either! Google Allo and Kik do, but typically from their own libraries of gifs. People are still trying to get them working I guess hahahaha. most default messaging apps that come with your phone don't support gif either though :(

I've updated but something's aren't working. The emoji search doesn't work and the gif section is crossed out. Also the "G" search doesn't quite work as advertised in the video. I'm running Android 6 so hopefully this will get fixed.
