GBRf Class 60s Nos 60085 & 60095 - Newcastle & Heworth - 2nd May 2024

A video that I took on 2nd May 2024 of GBRf class 60s Nos. 60085 and 60095 working in a 'top and tailed' formation on a biomass train to and from Lynemouth Power Station.
The first video shot is taken early morning at Newcastle Central Station with 60085 leading a loaded Biomass train from Tyne Coal Terminal to Lynemouth Power Station through the station.
The second shot shows the train with the empty wagons and 60095 leading passing through Heworth Station in South Tyneside on its return to the Tyne Coal Terminal.

Many thanks Anthony. I was told the 'top n tail' workings are a result of the trains having to take a slightly different route due to engineering work that results in the loco not being able to run around the train for its return trip. Cheers - Allan. :-)

Thanks Mike. I believe it's while they is some engineering work going on. The train goes a different route from normal (via Morpeth instead of Backworth) and loco cannot run around train so I was told. Cheers - Allan.
