Why this tank weights 56tons, 2 tons more than ShotKal or Centurion mk10 with almost twice thicker upper glacis and side-scirts on-board while Olifant has not them both

Probably some modifications such as stronger filter and some modifications to cooling system to accommodate SA needs

I think that's normal. Unlike modern tank these days. Centurion/olifant's tracks doesn't have rubber pads thingy on their tracks so it makes those clunky sounds

To the best of my knowledge, the Olifant is a copy of the Centurion (British) with some improvements.

@@Yeshayahu. yes yes it is. theres a heavy modernization to it olifant mk 2 and latter mk1 variants with about the same protection as leopard 2a4 and equipped with a 120mm gun of equivlent power to leopard 2a4. still not an excellent tank or a first choice in any large tank battle but has thermal commanders viewer and thermal optics
