Pete, My husband is currently serving over seas. I was really moved by the love you showed all who have and are serving to keep us free! I am studying your videos in hopes to have the yard looking nice or with some grass still in it before hubby returns. I wish you were in Atlanta. I would cheat and have your company come and get yard on track. Wish this Army Wife luck. If I fail my mission, well at least I can turn him on to the channel once he returns!

Hey Pete! I just want to let you know that I appreciate your personality and character. I have not been a fan long but I dont need a background to see the good in you. You convict me with your life and how much you love God. Now, the reason I'm writing is to tell you i did not doubt you for one second when you did the original probe in your yard. Some people need more convincing, more than others, due to their personal experiences. Just keep up the good work, stayed prayed up, love your family and most of all stay awesome. Peace

Had a heat stress area in my side yard this past week. Looked into it and realized my irrigation nozzles were only rated for an 8ft spray on a 10ft area. Hit up the big box store and for less than $10 I got my irrigation right. Hate to say it but I enjoy seeing your yard with problem areas on occasion. Another great video Pete.

If I had the resources, I would aerate in fall, spring and early summer. The top layer of the clay soil here almost become water tight when the temps heat up and we get no rain. It would be nice to open up the top layer to let water and nutrients penetrate deeper. I hop you have a great week bro! It was a fun holiday in these parts!

Pete, just can’t tell you how much I appreciate what you do for us DYIers. I did start using the Greene County products about 30 days ago. I think I am seeing some difference. I just had a new house built in Richmond, VA last year and the sod I inherited was a mess to start with. Today, I have the best TTTF yard on the block....weed free, dense, and green. I am not as deep green as yours but it sure beats my neighbors. Sometimes I just want to ask them if I can take over part of their yards and use the Greene County products plus Milo and Ringers to bring them back. Anyways, I am a believer and I want to subscribe to the Academy program next year when I can take advantage of starting from the beginning. Keep up the great work!

Bob Fredericks totally agree w you sir. Since I live in Canada I can’t be on the same exact program but with all the tips I have learned so far and using the Bio Stimulant pack fm Greene County for the 1st Time ever this summer (I actually did my 2nd application today) I am blowing all my neighbours out of the water, it’s incredible. Last summer was a really tough summer for everyone and my lawn suffered a lot. To compare it this season with last season, I can honestly say it’s 10 times better. Pete, thanks for another great video! After what you did to your yard for Independence Day I thought it might be a while before you got your yard back in order enough to do another video. While your yard was fantastic and very patriotic for the July 4th video, I was curious what did you used to color your grass? I hope that colorizing your grass did not damage your lawn too badly. Are you just going to cut your grass a little lower and give it a "haircut" and maybe bag the clippings to get rid of the coloring or can you as simply wash of the coloring by watering your lawn? Pete, I know you have worked hard in you business for years to be able to buy the various fancy machines, like the aero-vator and the motorized spreader, just to name a couple, and it's consequentially nice to have them at your disposal to do the work in your yard quickly and well. I, and probably all of us watching your videos, wishes we had easy access to machines like those to use in our own yards. Nevertheless, Pete, great video and it sure looked like you and your family and friends had a fun and safe 4th at your house. :-)

Pete, its funny you should post this, as I've been debating on doing this for a customer. I have this guy....(Elizabethton, Tn)....new construction, new fescue seed, w straw cover crop. When I got the account, it look sorta ok, but I noticed the grass grew very fast, yet sparse. I kept thinking "his contractor threw down WAY too much straw, and its blocking the seed". I was afraid to mess w it, but as time went on, I told the customer that he should try to rake what he could out. Now, in the heat, the grass is less and less dense, and the ground in between is hard as a rock. As far as I'm concerned, it couldn't get much worse. I told him I'm probably going to do a free aeration just because I wanna see if it'll help. Worth a shot? Then regular watering......maybe some Milo?

What’s your take on aeration before and or after a preemergent app? If you do it after an preemergent app would that disturb the vapor barrier resulting in making the yard vulnerable to crabgrass? Then if you do it before a preemergent app would the holes make the app less effective because the yard has holes everywhere? Thanks in advance.
