NOTES Antibiotic resistance: 1. How? - There is a colony of bacteria - Bacteria develop random mutations in their dna - Occasionally bacteria less affected by antibiotic - Antibiotic kills most, but resistant survives, quickly replicates, new colony of antibiotic-resistant strains - Passed to other people, different antibiotic - Superbug - MRSA - Doctor often give out antibiotics where they wont help anyway - Widely used in the food of healthy animals to prevent them getting ill and grow faster

Extremely worried about this... 12 antibiotics in less than a year , they change the antibiotics class here and there, have had a chest infection for over a month and now a sinus infection and the sinus infection is not going away with the z pak... I'm constantly getting infections. Idk what to do anymore 😭😭😭 now I think I'll die if I'm resistant
