This is when wrestling was great. I don't care much for it now because all the old time greats is now gone. And to me it's changed dramatically.
@richardmorris63656 ай бұрын
It's got that way w/ most all sports, things change,athletes retire & a lot of old timers lose interest. I guess people still watch it but it definitely isn't as big as it was.

this is a true blue classic. Flair in the days as a new champion, before he got ossified into giving his "usual." I loved this era of Flair for the Gold post-glow.
@JuliusC1973 Жыл бұрын
And he would lose The NWA World Heavyweight Title the next Month To The Modern Day Warrior Kerry Von Erich in Dallas. Texas and then regain The NWA World Heavyweight Title in Japan. Flair had a very busy schedule, far busier than WWF Champion Hulk Hogan had, just saying.

One of Jack Brisco's last matches. The end of a phenomenal career.

Yep. He and Jerry had their brief run in the WWF after they sold their shares in Georgia, but Jack had enough of the schedule and decided to retire after 20 years in the business.

Jack got out just in time..sold hos shares with Jerry to Vince Jr... Left the business with a ton of money and great investments and businesses... Jerry and Jack were the 1st Full blooded Indians to become World Tag champs!

If MMA was around when he graduated from college he would have probably gone into that instead of wrestling.

I was there and this is the first time I've seen this video. This was the first time Ric Flair appeared. I was 14 and this card is coming up on it's 40th anniversary. Any chance there is footage of the Lights Out Match between Ronnie Garvin and Jake the Snake Roberts from that night too. One of the greatest matches I've ever seen.

@Sargebri2 жыл бұрын
They did. They went there after they sold their shares in the promotion to Vince. When they got to the WWF they began feuding with Adrian Adonis and Dick Murdoch for the tag belts. However, after a few months on the road Jack decided to retire.
